RUSSIA. The opening of Moscow Sheremetyevo Terminal 3 is tentatively planned for 1 November this year, after a series of delays held up progress on Russia’s newest airport terminal.

The new facility will be home to Aeroflot and its Sky team partners when it finally opens, with capacity for 12 million passengers a year – a capacity that developer JSC Terminal expects to reach within one year of operations.

The 170,000sq m building houses 15,000sq m of commercial concessions in the new terminal, which includes 25 duty free and duty paid stores and 18 food & beverage outlets.

Aer Rianta International has the exclusive rights to the duty free business, while SSP will operate six food & beverage outlets in the terminal. The other major F&B concessionaire will be Rosinter, Russia’s leading casual dining chain, whose contract was confirmed just weeks ago. It will operate 13 outlets across a total of 1,465sq m, both pre- and post-security. The retailer will invest RUB175 million (US$5.5 million) in the project.

Rosinter will operate a TGI Friday’s, an Il Patio Italian restaurant, six Costa Coffee outlets, two Russian restaurants and a bar, plus it will manage the terminal’s staff canteen.

OJSC Rosinter Restaurants Holding President Sergey Beshev said: “Operating restaurants in large transport hubs is an important component of our corporate strategy. We have solid experience in the airports of Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Riga, as well as in the Kurskiy railway station in the capital of Russia.

“The new terminal is a modern structure built in accordance with the highest airport facility standards. We are very excited with this partnership that allows us to serve our popular brands and cuisines to millions of guests from various countries and cities, with our traditional high quality service in a comfortable environment and cheerful ambiance. We believe that by developing such an ambitious project we are demonstrating once again our leadership in our markets.”

В Совке традиционно принято бросать пыль в глаза, здания, метро и прочие атрибуты, которые со временем чахнут и приходят в не годность. Вот теперь взялись за Аэропорт, благо деньги от бешенной нефте-коровки ешё были. Но люди то остаются советскими людьми, их видно не вооружённым всглядом, они не вписываются в эту современную про западную атмосферу новых технологий и дизайна.
Даже не могу представить как выглядят таможенные-пропускные службы в таких новых условиях, им надеюсь дали новую форму, сняли кепки-блины и голоса поменеяли на более ласковые...? Мнда...кто будет в след раз плиз поделитесь мнением.

Я приехала и живу тут, потому, что мой муж живет и работает тут!
Но вот у меня к вам вопрос Akela, куда вы смотрите когда так оголтело,с такой ненавистью пишут необьективно и так негативно о вашей бывшей Родине?Причем настолько все неправда, что у многих россиян вызывает удивление о какой Россси вы пишете? Не о дореволюционной ли? или России времен Сталина-Брежнева? В России каждый год за десять американских идет!
Такими темпами живет Россия и это не я придумала ,это жизнь так все раставляет по своим местам! Все настолько быстро меняеться и изменилось, что вам и представить трудно. А все, что вам не понятно - вас тревожит и вызывает раздражение! :oo:

Да не в нефти дело. Я не собирался показывать - хороший или плохой аэропорт. Просто один из участников дискуссии описал ситуацию, которую я себе на представляю, потому как регулярно пользуюсь услугами этого аэропорта - не более того.
Как одеты люди в Аэропорту мне тоже не интересно. Это я думаю, уже совсем другая тема. Но от себя могу сказать, что разница есть. Эта разница есть во многих странах Европы, но я не вижу в этом ничего странного. И уж тем более не собираюсь делать далеко идущих выводов.
А вот на что я обратил внимание, так это на то, что молодежь во всех странах одевается практически одинаково.
