Эх, Америка - куда ты катишься?!
Предлагаю вниманию заокеанских соотечественников размышления европейского соотечественника на актуальную тему, вызревшие у меня после «всенощной», т.е. празднования вместе со всем «прогрессивным человечеством» победы Жоры Кустова on „the Day After“. Так мне ЭТО видится из Швейцарии, где я проживаю вот уже 14 лет. Заранее извиняюсь за «политнекорректность», если кто таковую здесь обнаружит. Уж так это из меня «вылезло», а от самоцензуры я уже давно отвык. Признаюсь, лезет до сих пор, но усилием воли пока удаётся «заткнуть фонтан».
Впрочем, просьба не стесняться по части критики в мой адрес, её я особенно ценю. Тем более, что такое отношение ко моему мнению стало уже традиционном на швейцарском форуме (ruswiss.ch), где я числюсь в диссидентах. Так зачем же отходить от уже сложившейся традиции?
А началось всё с того, что я спонтанно написал «поздравление» своим американским друзьям. Правда, послал пока только одному из них – бывшему техасцу, проживающему в последние годы преимущественно в Шотландии, вдали от избранного им же 4 года назад президента-земляка, за которого он тогда голосовал. Других же своих американских друзей я пока не поздравил. Побоялся «обидеть», зная, что в отличие от русских, критика «своих» со стороны «чужих» у многих натуральных американцев не в почёте. Реакции пока нет, вот и решил «провериться» на вас, уж извиняйте. Я понимаю, что из Европы многое видится по-другому, чем из самих США. Вот мне и интересно ваше мнение: у кого всё-таки крыша поехала – у ваших или у наших?
Заранее прошу извинения за стиль и «очепятки». Хотя у нас в Хельветии и 3 национальных языка (формально даже 4), но английского среди них нет. Сам же я живу в немецкоговорящем регионе, а мой английский – остатки прежней роскоши.
На этих выборах иракская тема была в центре внимания. Но ведь Ирак – это только начало. Не зря же сказано и пропето тысячи раз: «Сегодня ты, а завтра я». Или выражаясь современным, для многих более понятным языком: «умри сегодня ты, а я - завтра». Похоже, ждать осталось недолго. Сегодня (вернее, уже вчера) – Ирак, завтра – Северная Корея, послезавтра – Иран и далее по списку, хранящемуся где-нибудь в Лэнгли или в Эр-Рияде. Вообще-то не вполне понятно, уж если кого и наказывать, так вроде следовало бы начинать с Северной Кореи. Она ведь открыто заявляет о разработке атомного оружия, а уж антиамериканский курс не подлежит сомнению. Или Пентагон бомбардирует строго в алфавитном порядке (начиная с Афганистана)? Если так, то до нас в Швейцарии дойдут нескоро, что несколько утешает.
Для начала войны достаточно любого предлога, например, „нас там не любят». Правда, тогда может и крылатых ракет не хватить – уж очень много, где не любят. Собственно непонятно, а где (ещё) любят? Уже и в самой Америке половина населения не может без отвращения смотреть на своего президента. Да и из самой страны народ понемногу потянулся – мол, слишком уж удушливая атмосфера. Пока что – в Канаду, но недалеко время – гладишь, Amis будут приезжать просить политического убежища и к нам в Европу. Первые политические беженцы уже прибыли.
Вообще-то это возмутительно! К выборам мирового жандарма должны быть допущены не только сами жандармы, но и их потенциальные жертвы, т.е. практически все жители нашей планеты. Иначе дело запахнет ... даже не керосином, а похуже. Так что предлагаю на будущее выбирать вашего «президента в законе» всем миром. У меня уже и название подходящее есть:
US Open. Как вам такое предложение?
Поскольку это дело ещё нужно опробовать и обкатать, можно для начала исключить из голосования неблагонадёжные страны. Сюда входят не только Ирак, но и все страны, где стоит хотя бы одна мечеть или же подозрительно долго не бреются бороды. За исключением Саудовской Аравии, конечно. Иначе Бин-Ладены - личные друзья и главные спонсоры семьи Бушей - ещё обидятся. А то, что там у них в СА до сих пор каменный (или пустынный?) век, женщин забрасывают камнями за взгляд «не в ту сторону», население люто ненавидит своих правителей – неважно. Главное, что СА – надёжный оплот демократии на БВ и во всём мире.
Правда, некоторые «дерьмократы» пытаются скомпрометировать республиканцев. Мол, чуть ли не 26 членов немалого семейства Бин-Ладенов пребывавших в Штатах 11 сентября сами знаете какого года, были взяты под персональную защиту Буша и срочно эвакуированы из страны, дабы избежать ненужных и обидных для них подозрений. Задают вопрос, уж не для того ли они тут гостили, чтобы с близкой дистанции полюбоваться работой одного из своих отпрысков? К чему такие нелепые, даже вздорные предположения? Скорей всего просто они находились в USA в гостях по делам бизнеса БЛ-Буш. А то, что отпрыск семьи Осама немного погорячился, не согласовав с ними дату начала Джихада, так это досадная нестыковка, которая больше не повторится. Это ему на семейном совете уже наверняка разъяснили. Мол, шали себе на здоровье, но выбирай для этого нужное время.
К самим же Бин-Ладенам у Буша вопросов не было и нет, - они все как один, вернее кроме одного, люди «свои». Да и сказал же один мудрый человек: «Сын за отца не отвечает». Правда, Рузвельт после Pearl Harbor упрятал в лагеря всех узкоглазых, да и макаронникам досталось. Но ведь те не догадались заранее обильно просубсидировать его. За что и поплатились. Нынешние – «понятливее».
Далее – вычеркнуть из списков для голосования «старую Европу», пока не образумится. У них там, похоже, маразм начался. Ведь ясно же сказано «кто не с нами, тот против нас». И вообще, пусть не забывают: наши базы в Европе можно в любой момент снова заполнить бравыми американскими пехотинцами. Русские друзья наверняка поделятся с нами своим богатым опытом по этой части.
Ну, вот. Это было такое небольшое предисловие по-русски. А теперь – само поздравление.

Shall I really congratulate you on the re-election of your President?
The best friend of Florida’s kids and personal protector of the Bin Laden clan will protect America - and the whole world (i.e. only countries standing behind him) - for the next 4 years.
Well, after all it was your choice – take it or leave it! By the way, according to a recent TV-report some of you (predominantly Californians) are literally leaving (emigrating from) USA for Canada. They say they’ve got enough. May be they are just fed up with the Californian climate and are looking for something “really cool”? Who knows?
This “new emigration” is a new and rather unusual phenomenon for the US, isn’t it? At the moment it’s very tiny. It would be too early talking about the tendency. Still it tells for itself. It is to be expected that the “American emigration” - one has to get used to this words combination first - will soon reach Europe as well. I don’t mind. After all, it’s mostly intellectuals who leave. We don’t mind giving them a political asylum. I want you to know - if you happen to be one of those fleeing from the Bushland, you can always count on my help.
It would be a slight exaggeration to say that most Europeans jumped out of their panties out of joy on hearing the “breaking news”. Will you despise and blame us for that? Please don’t. We are generous and would gladly grant Mr. Bush the full retirement. He has truly deserved it! Such a tremendous job and his extraordinary hard efforts on making the world more peaceful and the US economy stronger can hardly be ignored or undermined. The results are really impressive. The world has really become much safer and we all can look in the future with an optimism of a Texas cowboy.
I must admit - it’s hard for me to imagine what’s going on in Mr. Bush’s head at this time. Still I’ve made an effort. Here is the result:
Americans can be proud of the choice they’ve made. Didn’t I revenge those bloody Iraqis for 9/11 hard enough? We hit real hard, which I am particularly proud of. It was like a glamorous PC game – only this time for real. Our cruise missiles and tanks made an excellent job, didn’t they? No wonder - they belong to the best conventional weapons the world has ever “enjoyed”. And I know what I’m talking about. After all a thick portion of the stocks belongs to my dad and some members of the US executive cabinet. And you can believe me - they know how to do business!
What? We’ve punished the wrong ones? Doesn’t matter! Americans expected me to strike somewhere and I did it. After all, the preventive successful military operation never harmed anybody. At least not me. Admittedly, it already killed thousands of GI’s (let alone Iraqis, we don’t compile statistics on them) bringing enormous grieve to their families, spoiled USA-Europe relations, ruined the US budget, harmed the US trustability, evoked the hatred towards Amis throughout the world and rapidly keep increasing the amount of our enemies even among our former friends partially radicalising them. But who counts? The majority of those not (yet) killed in Iraq or elsewhere are voting for me anyway.
And isn’t that JFK (what a coincidence!), I mean Kerry ridiculous? He doesn't seem to know the secret of a success in this country. It’s not what you say, not even what you promise, do or don’t do. It’s how you behave and what impression you make on the crowd … , well, I mean on you, folks. Say, I can appear in front of TV cameras with a “blue eye”. Nobody really cares (or trusts) what it really was. That’s OK, even funny and increases my popularity at the end. Now, can you imagine JFK telling all this bullshit about the pretzel coming into the wrong throat? That would be really weird and ridiculous. Our folk distrust intellectuals (which folk doesn’t?). They are too snobby, to say the least.
You can be proud of me and yourselves! (those who voted for me, of course). The rest must be ashamed of themselves. These miserable sons of bitches (not even 60 million voters) are just cowards. They think only about themselves (instead of my “higher predestination”) and afraid to lose their dears ones in the future wars which I plan to launch. How stupid! Jesus is our God, and I am his only prophet! Amen.
Then I’ve tried to imagine what a typical “bushman” might be thinking nowadays:
Honestly, I don’t see why George waits so long with North Korea and Iran. He’s got nerves, I tell you! Both countries are sworn enemies of the US, developing weapons of mass destruction. And this is for real, no kidding this time. What are you waiting for, Mr. President? Can’t we act a bit more preventive? Just kill the bastards before they kill us! We Americans won’t mind. Although it costs a few hundred billion of “greens” – who cares? We are bankrupt anyway! An this - in any respect. Just don’t tell me about new losses among our GIs in this joyful moment of the victory.
And these unthankfulbloody Europeans? Well, they have no idea what it’s all about and how the FREEDOM (of bombing) must be protected. Don’t we have enough and bombs, cruise missiles and tanks? Just tell your dad to double the production. It won’t ruin him financially.
I am sure the time will come. At the latest when the Empire State Building will collapse as a result of a mutual Korean-Iranian kamikaze complot he will declare the Operations “Jungle Storm” and “Bye-bye Allah”.
On hearing of Mr. Bush’s victory my 11-year-old son has exclaimed spontaneously: “It’s not fair!” Please forgive him this. He doesn’t really know the difference between your candidates (if there is one at all). Kesh or Burry – the Cola-flavour stays the same. I don’t agree with my son. On the contrary, think it is fair or at least fair enough if you think about this election-circus and look where the last “decisive” results came from. Ohio! Isn’t than symbolic? I used to think that Ohio is “in the middle of nowhere”. Or was it Oklahoma? Possibly both. Anyway, people of Ohio are not easy to fool. They know exactly what’s right and what’s wrong.
But at least in one respect my son was intuitively right. It’s not fair to exclude other nations from the vote, which eventually very much concerns all of us. I mean, we can’t do anything about the fact that the US is the world’s Policemen. But at least we must be able to have a veto right if a crazy cop looses control of himself and starts shooting all around. I still keep in my cellar the proud label presented to me while visiting Texas years ago: “Don’t mess with Texas!” It’s a high time to comprehend the seriousness of this message. I did it already but the majority of Amis unfortunately didn’t. And this might be a much bigger problem than when the pretzel goes in the wrong throat …
