Claire Harborne, 35, received £6,519 in housing benefits and council tax after telling the authorities she was a single mum.

But council officers caught her out when they found a message on her Friends Reunited profile which stated she was ‘happily married’. A further message confirming her marriage was discovered on Facebook.
Harborne, who also claims on her Friends Reunited page that she owns an Aston Martin DB9, refused to comment on the matter.
