I find myself creating the same document over and over again, with minimal changes- is there a way that i can designate fields on a existing document and simply change those?

How about creating a template where you underline areas that need to be changed every time? This way you can re-use the same document and you know what exactly needs to be changed every time...

there is a "Editing Feature" on the very end right , on the Hom tab in Word 2008.
You can keep the original of the document and by using "Find and Replace" dial box replace existing names and data with new ones.

Макросы - набор команд. Самый простой способ создать макро - Tools->Macros->Record a New Macro. В Экселе ты просто начинаешь запись и делаешь изменения, потом запись останавливаешь и сохраняешь макро. В Ворде оно анверное так же работает

Чтобы создать Template, ты просто сохраняешь документ как Template: Save As, потом выбираешь Template .dot под типом файла. Я только не знаю, в какой вкладке он потом появляеЦЦа - когда ты нажимаешь на File->New, там будет несколько вкладок с Template-ами

That could work but i want a cleaner way:eek:

It doesnt always do the the job- i have to check the document for errors after

Чтобы создать Темплате, ты просто сохраняешь документ как Темплате: Саве Ас, потом выбираешь Темплате .дот под типом файла. Я только не знаю, в какой вкладке он потом появляеЦЦа - когда ты нажимаешь на Филе->Нещ, там будет несколько вкладок с Темплате-ами
