Student with F1 visa, need an advice!!!!!!!!

Hi everybody! I am here in the US with F1 visa for 6 months already, finished my program in December and i am going to apply again for a new program for a Fall 2007. I am not going back home to Moscow before being enrolled in a new program. Before that i have almost 9 months and i don't want to spend them like that, sitting here doing nothing so my idea is to work and earn money!!! Before i had 2 J1 visas because i was a participant of Work and Travel program so i have SSN and California ID, and all my docs are ok now. Is there any risk to use my SSN for work and how big is it??? I know i have no right to work legally out of campus with F-1 visa during my first year of studying. Also is there any possibility to get a work permit??? Or the only way is to try to find a job where they will help me to change my status to H1B??? Or another option as to work for cash till i will be enrolled and then to try to find an internship and so on. The hardest thing right now is being here and not making any money. I can't sit on my parents neck. Please give some advice!!! thank you!!!

а что тебе мешает устроиться работать на кампусе? Где ты еще хочешь работать? сейчас платят от 7,5 долларов в час, по-моему, лучше чем ничего.

Hey Malutka, thank you for your response )), the thing is that i was trying to get a job on campus, but there are tooooooooooooooooooo many students who want that job, they called me once and the job was 2-3 times only on weekends, 5-6 hours, it is not serious, it is not enogh money to pay for rent, food, cell phone, car insurance and food. I have 1 job as a server and work about 15 hours on weekends, late p.m. shifts, and they pay me 8 an hour but they can't hire me full-time or give me more hours ((

Чтобы получить H-1b, надо иметь высшее образование (степень бакалавра). Если вскроется, что Вы работали без разрешения, Вас могут депортировать.
Как Вы объясните свое нахождение в США 9 месяцев без статуса?

Нет, летом быть full-time студентом не обязательно.
Достаточно быть full-time на Spring и Fall.

летом учиться необязательно, зато можно работать full-time on campus.

Господи, ну почему вы такие правильные? Есть ССН, есть ИД - устроится спокойно в какой-нибудь ресторан работать! А на кампусе, еше и 20 часов в неделю..:мад: . 1 % из 100, что ето куда-нибудь всплывет. Я бы на ее месте даже не раздумывала идти работать или нет.
