Looking for a senior level techno-functional Oracle Applications developer with hands-on experience in developing various Oracle HRMS and Financials modules to add value in a development, analysis and/or support capacity to our clients rapidly growing business utilizing Oracle Applications. Person should have good understanding of business issues and use a solutions-oriented, client-focused approach for all deliverables. Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Applications Foundations (AOL), UNIX environment and shell scripting are a must. Experience in Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Oracle HRMS, Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR) is a huge plus. Experience in Oracle Reports and/or Forms 6i is a plus. Responsibilities include learning about the systems, development of PL/SQL packages for new functionality, performing functional analysis, writing complex SQL queries against a very complex and large DB, performance tuning of SQL and database processes, driving database design for moderate projects in conjunction with the DBA team, handling problem tickets (e.g., researching and diagnosing problem causes, writing PL/SQL scripts to fix data issues, updating tickets to document solutions), providing technical leadership and training to others.
As with all or our team members, we are looking for someone who can both see the big picture and dig into the details, someone who is a team player and has excellent communications skills (very important!).
The ideal candidate will have:
* a minimum of 5 years experience developing in an Oracle Applications environment (HRMS/OAB and/or AR preferable)
* a minimum of 4 years of PL/SQL experience
* the ability to ask the right functional and technical
questions and work with minimal supervision.
* facility to define multiple technology-based solution options to meet business needs.
* experience in delivering end-to-end results.
* excellent interpersonal communications and documentation skills.
* the mentality to mentor and transfer knowledge.
* the right mindset to think outside of the box.
