Job description:
This person will be working with a team that is responsible for architecture and development of a system that implements financial models and numerical algorithms and makes them available through textual and programmatic interfaces.

The person will be responsible for thorough code documentation
and unit testing.

The candidate must have deep technical background in C++ and object-oriented programming.

The candidate should possess analytical skills to be able to understand financial modeling and algorithms as well as business functions and translate them into technical specifications.

> Position Qualifications

MS degree in Computer Science or related field. Advanced degree is
preferred.
Five or more years of experience in C++ and object-oriented
design and programming. Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and critique development solutions.
Experience in the following is preferred:
numerical/financial algorithms, STL, C++ templates, XML, Java, Unix/Shell.


STRONG Financial History Background is highly desirable. (Must have worked for companies like Merrill Lynch, J P Morgan,Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley, Vangard, Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual, Fidelity, Putnam, Other investments firms, or Banks, or Credit Card companies like CITIBANK,MBNA etc… or Mortagage Industry like Fannie Mae, Sallie Mae, Freddie Mac, Folio etc etc…) ***
