лица там не видно (да оно там не кому и не нужно) а только вот потертые (очень) джинцы с пояса и ниже.

Abercrombie and Fitch was originally a store that outfitted wealthy businessmen for their outdoor pursuits, and it continued to sell such clothing to this demographic until it was bought by The Limited (which owns Victoria's Secret) in 1988. Under the ownership of The Limited, Abercrombie began to make clothing specifically designed for adolescents from wealthy, suburban families. Abercrombie grew tremendously after establishing themselves as the clothing line of choice for the "prep" clique in suburban high schools all across America. By 1999, they had 300 stores worldwide. In 1998, Abercrombie and Fitch became a fully independent public company, separate from The Limited. Soon thereafter, they began pursuing an aggressive marketing strategy that soon caught the attention of concerned parents and law enforcement officials across America. This strategy amounted to nothing more than the use of pornography to market clothing to adolescents.

Abercrombie began publishing a quarterly catalogue in which only minimal space was given to marketing of their actual clothing. The overwhelming majority of the pages featured flat-out pornographic images and commentary encouraging a lifestyle of illicit, deviant sexuality. Life-size posters of naked models were placed on the interior wall and exteriors windows of their stores.

The once thriving company has struggled financially since beginning this marketing strategy. To their credit, shoppers, both parents and adolescents alike, have discontinued supporting the company due to its immoral business practices. As of December 2003, 39 of the last 46 months had seen drops in same-store sales, and the critical month of November, leading up to the Christmas season, saw a drop of 13%.

This poor financial performance and the growing discontent voiced from religious and conservative circles resulted in Abercrombie's announcement in December of 2003 that they were discontinuing the sale of their pornographic Quarterly catologue after investing six years and $100 million dollars into it. They have tamed down the overt sexuality of much of their advertisement as well.

However, they have asserted that they will continue to use a highly sexualized theme to market their clothing with a new advertising campaign scheduled for the spring of 2004. It is highly unlikely that this evil corporation has experienced a change of heart, and no change in shopping patterns for concerned individuals should accompany Abercrombie's recent announcement of a "change in direction."
