I dont think that is true. A thief is an unanticipated tresspasser- you dont owe a duty to unanticipated trespassers.;)

That is exactly what I'm talking about- you just proved my point:D ....A homeowner is owed a duty to all known trespassers. He has no duty to unknown and unanticipated trespassers.

Certainly no one anticipated that their house will be burglarized, thus no duty is owed to a criminal.

You wont find a case that states otherwise:D

Мины нельзя закапывать, если ты ими не владеешь легально. Опять же ИМХО, но отвечать в данном случае чел будет за нелегальное владение/использование мины, а не за убийство/нанесение телесных повреждений.

Но, даже если и слепой наколется, то это ведь не криминал. Пусть судятся со страховой компанией и амбрелой до посинения, даже пусь выигрывают :-)
