    I get this sinking feeling... Oil/commodities contunue to decline due to global slowdown, stocks keep getting hammered. September is all red with some bargain-hunting days like today. No good news on RE or credit markets, high unemployment, etc. Shorts are abundant.

    typical bear conditions, same as 2001
    one thing - a lot of good companies are selling under or close to their book value
    and value buyers know about it
    why pharma is still high?

    I don't know. Maybe there was so much fat pigs to slaughter, that shorts haven't gotten their hands on it, yet. They'll have plenty of opportunity in coming weeks.

    yep, they should switch hands and they know about it
    financials are recovering/ going up - all shorts loosing now
    look at ABK /Short Percent of Float 29.20 %/

    it's mean a lot of naked shortings
    if there is no bailout ;) you know what does it mean :D
    timewise we should see the bottom of bear market this year /Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe already started fucking up, dollar is going up, all money will fly to US/ - typical end for bear stock market
