Беременость и F-1 статус

[Пума]

Student medical insurance usually does not provide a good coverage. There is such a thing as Emergency Medical Assistance that is provided to everyone who is in need no matter what one's status is. Job and Family Services handle it. There is also some kind of assistance that every hospital provides for its low-income patients. The form that you will need to fill out is called HCAP if I remember it correctly. You are also eligible for WIC-- Women and Infant Children. You will also be eligible for Medicaid for baby when baby is born and this should take care of baby's medical bills at birth and down the road.
Another thing is that you can place a baby in a day care starting 6 weeks old but I am not sure whether you would be able to get child care expenses covered since you are on F-1 visa. (University of Michigan provides certain amount of day care expenses covered for its full time student.) You need to find out about day care expenses again at the Job and Family Services. I sincerely wish you good luck and all the best.

Это деньги на ребёнка, так что платить будут. Также на ребёнка можно получить фудстемпы. Одна загвоздка может быть - доход отца.
Университетские страховки разные бывают, надо полиси почитать. У меня была очень хорошая.
