Ukrainian Forces advance through two of Russia's three defense lines - Defense Minister

The Ukrainian military is between the second and third lines of Russian defense. Ukraine has a plan to liberate the territories by 2024, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

Umerov says that the occupiers have three lines of defense on the front in Ukraine. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have passed the second line and are now facing the third.

"We already de-occupied 50% of our territory, we are defeating Russia on our land, we have gained the territories, we stopped atrocities and now we have a plan for 2924," the minister says.

The Defense Minister emphasizes that the return to the 1991 borders remains a strategic victory for Ukraine. Asked by a journalist whether a settlement is possible if the war lasts for years, Umerov said that the civilized world should be embarrassed if this happens.

"It will continue and destroy democracy. They (Russians - ed.) believe that Ukraine and Ukrainians should not exist," he says.
The minister also noted Ukraine's plans to join NATO. According to him, all calculations for the next year, procurement, and planning of operations will be carried out according to NATO standards.

Umerov also comments on the corruption and procurement scandals in the Defense Ministry. He says that tenders, competitions, and audits are currently underway. The defense minister added that the agency is ready to invite external auditors for cross-checking.

Armed Forces destroy Russian Kh-59 missile over Dnipro Rver

On December 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a Russian Kh-59 missile over the Dnipro River, according to the Air Command East.

"The guided aviation missile has been destroyed," the statement says.

Military officials clarified that this incident occurred over the city of Dnipro, and accordingly, the missile was shot down over the regional center.

In the command, they also reminded Ukrainians not to forget about safety measures during air alerts.

Russian airstrikes on Ukraine

Russian occupiers almost daily carry out strikes on peaceful cities in Ukraine, using kamikaze drones and various types of missiles. Such an aerial attack occurred earlier in the night.

It was previously reported that a series of explosions occurred in Dnipro during the day on December 6. Prior to this, an air alert had been declared in the Dnipropetrovsk region due to missile danger.
During the air alert on the night of December 6, explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region. The regional military administration reported the activities of air defense forces in the region.

подрыв Каховской было преступление рашки против экологии (лишний рас доказывает шо идет речь не об асвабаждении а об тотальном уничтожении до граунд зеро, одно разминирование территории обычными методами займет 700 лет),

аднака в военном плане оправдано - ВСУ пришлось без авиации прогрызать влоб трехслойную оборону, вместо того шоп форсировать Днепр и обойти как немци линию Можино (хде в тоннелях два грузовика разминались).

И главное - потеряно три месяца самого продуктивного летнего времени для наступления.

South Korea Indirectly Supports Ukraine with More 155mm Shells than All of Europe Combined

South Korea has indirectly supported Ukraine by supplying more 155mm artillery shells than all European countries combined, according to the Washington Post (WP) on December 4 (local time).

They introduced the process in which the U.S. government requested 155mm shells from South Korea as Ukraine prepared to counterattack earlier this year.

At a Ukraine counterattack-related meeting chaired by Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Advisor, on February 3, the issue of securing 155mm shells emerged as a significant task.

The U.S. Department of Defense estimated that Ukraine needed 90,000 shells per month to respond to Russia’s attacks. However, the amount of shells that could be procured in the U.S. was only one-tenth of Ukraine’s demand.

Amidst these geopolitical dynamics, South Korea has emerged as a key alternative for the United States regarding ammunition supply. The U.S. Department of Defense has estimated that with cooperation from South Korea, they could facilitate the transportation of approximately 330,000 155mm shells within 41 days.
However, by law, South Korea prohibits the supply of weapons to conflict areas. Hence, the U.S. Department of Defense consulted with South Korean authorities to make it possible through “indirect support.”

According to a report from the Washington Post, South Korea accepted an indirect support plan and commenced the transportation of shells at the start of this year. The report indicated that South Korea has now become a nation that supplies more shells to Ukraine than all European countries combined.

It is unclear whether the shells transported from South Korea were immediately used on the Ukrainian battlefield or whether the U.S. filled its own arsenal with shells from South Korea and supplied the shells they already had to Ukraine.

In addition, WP did not disclose the exact quantity of shells transported from South Korea.
