Iran to Present Its Latest Apps at GITEX 2017
October 9, 2017 - 12:33
The Iranian company Hamravesh, one of the active app developers in Iran, is offering its latest applications at GITEX 2017, which is underway in Dubai, the UAE.
The company’s CEO, Mr Sattari, has explained about the activities of Hamravesh saying that the company is a knowledge-based one launched in 2016. It provides software services in order to produce useful applications to meet the needs of different organizations.
It has produced several apps in the domain of sales services, product delivery, storage services, and health sector.
In the exportation sector, Hamravesh designed an app on load-carrying systems (on-demand freight) for a Dubai-based company both on Android and IOS platforms. In this system, each customer who wants to send a package can communicate with the driver.
GITEX is the most important regional technology show in which many large and small companies are taking part. It is a good chance for us and other Iranian companies to introduce our potentialities at this event.
This is the first time Hamravesh is taking part at GITEX. Since we have already worked at the international level, we are going to participate in this exhibition to introduce our capabilities to the international market and work with other companies. On the other hand, getting familiar with the technology of the contemporary world, and the achievements and trends in the world of technology can help in improving various aspects of Iran’s activities and position in this area.
Hamravesh has always tried to be a trusted partner for the companies which are not working on software systems, but need software. To reach this, we did our best to meet the needs of these companies with the help of elites and experts.
Regarding the prospects of technology, it is noteworthy to say that to achieve success in the modern world it is necessary to have professional human resources.
What is important today for the new wave of Iranian knowledge-based companies is to have a staff who help in production of globally-standard products and Hamravesh tries to step in this direction.

Iran Protests: Minister Calls on People to Pursue Demands Peacefully
December 31, 2017 - 08:19
Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli
Iran’s Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli cautioned that use of violence in the rallies in protest at the economic woes would do great harm to security and progress of the country, calling on people to pursue demands in peace and within the framework of
Commenting on the recent demonstrations in some Iranian cities over high costs of living and economic issues, Rahmani Fazli hailed people on Sunday for expressing their opinions under lawful methods.
The cases of vandalism and violation of citizenship rights have nothing to do with the peaceful demonstrations, the minister added, praising the police and security forces for exercising self-restraint during the violent rallies.
Rahmani Fazli then said resorting to violence and vandalism would undermine security in the country and disrupt the process of production and job creation, reminding the vandals and arsonists that they have to pay the price for their conducts.
Calm, obedience to law, unity, coordination and cooperation are the best approaches for pursuing the public demands and ensuring security, the minister added.
His comments came against a backdrop of demonstrations in some cities of Iran over the past days to complain about price hikes and economic woes.
According to Article 27 of the Iranian Constitution, “public gatherings and marches are allowed so long as the participants do not carry arms and are not in violation of the fundamental principles of Islam.”
Following the peaceful civil rallies, the Western and a number of Arab media outlets tried to portray the protests as a political uprising against the Establishment.
Iranian officials maintain that people have the right to stage protests to express their opinions, as long as the rallies comply with the legal conditions.
Police have arrested a number of demonstrators that were trying to damage public property in the gatherings.

President Rouhani to Address Nation on Iran Protests
December 31, 2017 - 09:41
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will shortly address the Iranian nation about the protest rallies held across the country within the past few days.
The Iran newspaper on Sunday quoted a source close to the president’s office as saying that Rouhani will talk to people within a few hours.
The president is expected to comment on the recent anti-government protests and gatherings held in various Iranian cities over economic woes.
The protests, which started in the religious cities of Mashhad and Qom on Thursday, mainly focused on economic grievances, particularly the surge in prices and the financial corruption of the state bodies.
However, the ensuing protest rallies in other cities on Friday and Saturday involved more political slogans. Officials and analysts believe foreign and anti-Iran media and officials are trying to make the demonstrations political and provoke people to chant anti-Establishment slogans.
