У нас в июне было +35 в тени. Держалось две недели. Потом похолодало до +30.

Ну - хоть снег сразу не пошёл.
У нас когда-то 31 августа было +28С , а 1го сентября сразу +12 и дождь. Правда 2го сентября уже +20С и опять солнце.

"Похолодало до +30..." Хорошая фраза. )) А у нас жара только сейчас надвигается. До этого, лето было сказочно прохладным для Южной Калифорнии.

NOAA releases their winter weather prediction for the 2015 -2016 winter.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has published an official winter weather outlook for the winter of 2015 – 2016. Their predictions are inline with what has been historically seen during winters with a strong El Nino event. In fact, many at NOAA believe that the 2015 -2016 winter could see the strongest El Nino event in 50 years.

The strengthening El Nino in the Pacific Ocean has the potential to become one of the most powerful on record, as warming ocean waters surge toward the Americas, setting up a pattern that could bring once-in-a-generation storms this winter to drought-parched California.
The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center said Thursday that all computer models are predicting a strong El Nino to peak in the late fall or early winter. A host of observations have led scientists to conclude that “collectively, these atmospheric and oceanic features reflect a significant and strengthening El Nino.”
