* A Plastic bag or newspapers
* Two sticks 1/4" square is perfect, 1/4" round is good too One stick is 36 inches long and the second is 33 inches long
* Masking tape
* Scissors
* String for flying and for building the kite
* A little saw or small knife for notching the wood
* some strips of cloth about 2" wide and a one foot long
