Washington, (ANI): Lady Gaga, who is known for making headlines with her wacky outfits, landed in trouble during a recent trip to Russia for wearing a skimpy leather outfit. The singer almost got herself arrested during a visit to Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow when she was stopped by the police for flashing too much flesh in a leather get-up.

"They tried to arrest me in Russia, for leather at St. Basil's. But all is calm in the red square, as I leave the east Parisbound (sic)," Contactmusic quoted Lady Gaga, as stating on her Twitter page. This is not the first time that Lady Gaga has landed in trouble for her outfits. She was recently reprimanded by a policeman in Chicago after she stepped out in hotpants.


She has previously admitted her wacky fashion sense has caused her problems with the law, explaining a Chicago policeman once took exception to her tiny shorts.

She previously revealed: "I was outside the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago and this policeman came up and told me my hotpants were too short. They weren't really pants at all, but he got upset and I got a citation. All people will have seen is this half-naked girl on the street yelling, 'It's fashion! I'm an artist!'"

вчера в одмом кафе по ТВ крутили Гремми. застали под конец. выступали репперы. мне показалось целых 30 минут. на фоне играли музыканты с инструментами. гнали туда сюда один единственный аккорд. не знаю почему люди их не забросали гнилыми помидорами. мне хотелось кинуть вилкой в сторону ближайшего телека. а потом выйгривает...Taylor Swift. ето какое то чудо. плиз послушайте ее музыку. если вам больше 12 то слушать такое просто невозможно. надо срочно создавать аналог Гремми и не пускать туда всех етох персонажей.
