Рассуждения докторов на етом форуме мне напоминают BS spouted by Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity and other pseudo-conservatives that keep insisting that US has the best healthcare system in the world( while I believe we are ranked 34th or 37th?), and of course they always come up with some anecdotal story that is supposed to serve as an evidence of a miserable state of healthcare in Canada, UK, France or Germany. Meanwhile, we are the only country in industrialized Western world that denies its citizens the most fundamental human right: affordable healthcare.

Давайте определимся. Докторов волнуют ИХ заработки? А меня волнуют мои медицинские расходы которые съедают МОИ заработки. Сколько в Америке врачей? И сколько не врачей? Надеюсь демократия и здравый смысл победят. :34:

Давайте определимся. Докторов волнуют ИХ заработки? А меня волнуют мои медицинские расходы которые съедают МОИ заработки. Сколько в Америке врачей? И сколько не врачей? Надеюсь демократия и здравый смысл победят. :34:

The rates of cure for breast and colon cancer, for example, are lower in other countires than here, including your favorite Canada. People simply can't get to the doctor on time+get the scans they need. But that's ok with you; well, not ok with me. If I get cancer I would like to be treated in this country, please. (On a personal note which of course can't be used to generalize anything but still: A friend of mine from Canada tore one of the ligaments in his knee to the point of being unable to walk. It took him 4 months to see an orthopod who ordered MRI which was scheduled for 3 months later at 2 am /kid u not, 2 am/, to schedule him for surgery it was going to be another 6 months. He is well off, he came to Detroit and had a surgery there, paid out of pocket and left within a week's time. His injury was limiting him in being able to work, move, be active etc. Freaking nuts that it would take a year!!! to do ligament repair)

Human rights include liberty and freedom from persecution. NOWHERE in the constitution does it say that goverment HAS to provide medical care for u. Haven't u learned yet, that whatever is free or cheap is not good??? I mean it's so Sovok of u to wants things for free. :v:

Here we go again...Anecdotal stories...Looks like in medical school they didn't teach you the difference between an anecdote and evidence. I know about rates of breast and colon cancer in Canada. And everyone always has a little story to tell about their friend...
Maybe you should look up the life expectancy in Canada...along with other things...
