Van Halen "Hot For Teacher"



"Hot For Teacher" is a song on Van Halen's successful 1984 album.
The sexually suggestive song was best known for its outrageous and hilarious music video featuring the band as both adults and young students in a high school and a teacher in a beauty contest. At least one teacher's union protested the song and video, calling for it to be pulled from both the radio and television, due to the songs sexually suggestive lyrics referring to sex with a teacher, and a beautiful female teacher stripping in the video, among other issues. They failed in their attempt.
This video was also one of the many hints that David Lee Roth had aspirations to be a game show host.



According to the website, http://classicvanhalen.com: "The guitar intro and solo are two of the finest works Eddie has ever recorded. To simulate the quiet interludes live, Ed used a Roland echo unit with the volume turned down, which he activated from his pedal board."[1]
The ending of this song comes from a studio outtake from the bands club days, entitled "Voodoo Queen".

Eric Johnson "Desert Rose"



Eric Johnson (born August 17, 1954) is a Grammy Award winning guitarist and recording artist from Austin, Texas. Best known for his success in the instrumental rock format, Johnson regularly incorporates jazz, fusion, New Age, and country and western elements into his recordings.
Guitar Player magazine calls Johnson "One of the most respected guitar virtuosos on the planet"[3]. Johnson composes and plays not just instrumental songs, but also sings and plays piano.


"Desert Rose" is the third track in Eric Johnson's album Ah Via Musicom. Originally released in 1990, the song has become one of Johnson's most popular pieces. It was one of the album's four vocal numbers, the other three being "Nothing Can Keep me From You", "High Landrons" and "Forty Mile Town".
Eric Johnson recorded the song in A flat major, in 4/4 time.

Deep Purple "Burn"



Burn is a hard rock album by Deep Purple released in 1974. It introduced new vocalist David Coverdale and bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes from Trapeze. They replaced Ian Gillan and Roger Glover. This was the first Deep Purple album with the "Mark III" lineup. This new line-up continued into 1974 with that a more heavy blues-rock album Burn, another highly successful release and world tour.
