    Deep Purple "Woman From Tokyo"

Deep Purple MK II, c. 1970's, from left to right: Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Ian Gillan, Richie Blackmore and Roger Glover.

The classic Deep Purple Mk 2 line-up continued to work hard and record into 1973, releasing the album Who Do We Think We Are (1973), featuring the hit single Woman from Tokyo, (plus album favourites "Mary Long," "Smooth Dancer," and "Rat Bat Blue"), but tensions within the band were more noticeable than ever. The bad feelings culminated in Ian Gillan quitting the band after their second tour of Japan in the summer of 1973, and Roger Glover being pushed out with him.

Joe Satriani "The Extremist (Living on the Edge)"

In 1992, Satriani released The Extremist, his most critically acclaimed and commercially successful CD to date. Radio stations across the country were quick to pick up on "Summer Song", while "Cryin'", "Friends" and the title track were regional hits. The CD is now considered a rock classic.

Mighty ReArranger (US #22 ) is an album by the British rock singer Robert Plant and his new back-up band, Strange Sensation. It was released on April 25, 2005 internationally, May 9 in the United Kingdom and a day later in the United States. Mighty ReArranger contains a blend of world and Western music influences, with mystical, oblique and somewhat cynical references to religion and destiny. The album also contains some subtle political statements. The first single was "Shine It All Around." Special editions of the album sold exclusively in Best Buy retailers feature a 44-minute interview bonus disc.
This album was chosen as one of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005, and was nominated for two Grammy Awards.

    U2 "Vertigo"

    U2 in San Diego, California

The first U2 single from the album, titled "Vertigo", was released for airplay on 24 September, 2004. The song received extensive airplay in the first week after its release and became an international hit, also being featured on a widely-aired television commercial for the Apple iPod. The album was released on 22 November worldwide and 23 November in the United States. It debuted at #1 in 32 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the band's native Ireland. It sold 840,000 units in the United States in its first week.[60] This was a personal record for the band, nearly doubling the first-week sales of All That You Can't Leave Behind in the US. 2005 also saw U2's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in their first year of eligibility.

    Rammstein "Moskau"

Rammstein is a German band that was formed in 1994. Their musical style incorporates elements of metal/hard rock, industrial metal, and electronic music, which the band has termed 'Tanz (dance) Metal'. Their songs are performed almost exclusively in German. They have sold over 12 million records worldwide

Moskau is the seventh track on German heavy metal band Rammstein's 2004 Reise, Reise album. Rumored to have originally been intended as a duet with Julia Volkova of Russian pop duo t.A.T.u., it instead features the vocals of Viktoria Fersh, whose voice bears a strong resemblance to Volkova's. Many (perhaps even most) sources say that it is t.A.T.u. who perform the additional vocals, but this can be clearly seen to be untrue by checking artist listing on the second to last page of the Reise Reise lyrics booklet.
The song refers to the Russian capital of Moscow. The track features two perspectives on the city: its beauty and culture, as well as its less florid undercurrents of corruption.
