Foreigner is a rock band formed in New York City, USA in 1976 by veteran musicians Mick Jones and Ian McDonald, along with then unknown vocalist Lou Gramm (Louis Grammatico), (see 1976 in music). Despite accusations of formulaic commercialism, Foreigner's unique style of arena rock with keyboard flourishes has racked up sales of over 50 million records worldwide to date.

Lizzy Borden "One False Move"



Lizzy Borden was an American heavy metal band formed in 1984. Lizzy Borden is also the name of the band's lead vocalist. Borden specialized in the shock metal style originated by artists like Alice Cooper and Twisted Sister. The band is named after notorious Lizzie Borden, a woman accused (and acquitted) of murder in the late 19th century.
One time Lizzy Borden guitarist Joe Holmes also played with David Lee Roth and Ozzy Osbourne.
The band experienced considerable success throughout the 1980s in spite of several line-up changes.
Lizzy Borden would re-form in 2004 under a new name, Starwood.

Twisted Sister ""We're Not Gonna Take It" "



Twisted Sister is an American heavy metal band from New York City, United States, popularized by comedic music videos on the television channel MTV in the 1980s. Although formed by guitar player Jay Jay French in 1973, all of their songs were written by the lead singer Dee Snider. They fused the shock tactics of Alice Cooper, the rebellious mood of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, the style of the New York Dolls, and the extravagant makeup of KISS.
The group's hit songs include "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock". Many of the band's hits theme around parent vs. child conflicts and criticisms against educational system. The group had a glam-like image but musically they were closer to classic heavy metal bands such as Judas Priest and Motörhead than the other glam metal/pop metal bands of the era, for example, Poison and Ratt.

The band, formed in Los Angeles, California, initially consisted of Blackie Lawless, Rik Fox, Randy Piper and Tony Richards. The band became famous for its raunchy and at times shocking live shows; Lawless was known to tie semi-naked models to a torture rack and hurl raw meat into the audience. The band's debut single, entitled Animal (Fuck Like A Beast), was equally controversial.
