    Foreigner "Blue Morning, Blue Day"

Foreigner is a rock band formed in New York City, USA in 1976 by veteran musicians Mick Jones and Ian McDonald, along with then unknown vocalist Lou Gramm (Louis Grammatico), (see 1976 in music). Despite accusations of formulaic commercialism, Foreigner's unique style of arena rock with keyboard flourishes has racked up sales of over 50 million records worldwide to date.

Double Vision (1978) #3 US, #32 UK, Double Vision is the second album by American rock band Foreigner, released in 1978 (see 1978 in music), topped their previous selling five million records and spawned "Hot Blooded" and title track "Double Vision".

    Peter Gabriel "Big Time"

So is the fifth studio album by British rock musician Peter Gabriel, released in 1986. Many of its songs reflect a more conventional pop-writing style which became radio hits. Others still retained Gabriel's dark, brooding sense of experimentalism and are held as classics by his more eclectic fans. Gabriel achieved his greatest popularity with songs from the 1986 So album, most notably "Sledgehammer", "Big Time", "Don't Give Up" and "In Your Eyes." ("In Your Eyes" had a conspicuous inclusion in the 1989 film Say Anything...; consequently, it was as popular that year as it was initially in 1986.) Gabriel co-produced So with Canadian Daniel Lanois, also known for his work with U2.

AC/DC "You Shook Me All Night Long" – 3:30

Back in Black is a hard rock album by Australian band AC/DC. The record was released in 1980 and, to date, it has sold in excess of 40 million copies worldwide, making it the second biggest selling album of all time.
This became their biggest-selling album, a hard-rock landmark . Among the album's hits, the title track, an unstated tribute to Scott, and "You Shook Me All Night Long", are quintessential AC/DC: pounding guitars, start-stop rhythms, and the vocal style one critic affectionately described as "crotch on barbed wire."

Rage Against The Machine "Bullet In The Head"

Rage Against the Machine, also known as Rage or RATM, was an American rock band noted both for their diligent political conscience and for their pioneering blend of hard rock and rap which over time would come to be known variously as Rock, Rap Rock or Rap Metal (Both known under Rapcore), Hard Rock, Funk Metal and Alternative Rock or Alternative Metal — as well as their vocal militant anarchist beliefs. At the point of their break-up in 2000, Rage Against the Machine had become one of the most popular political hard rock bands of all time, and certainly of the 1990s. Currently, three members of the band, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk, are now members of Audioslave, featuring former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell.
Widely regarded as the definitive originators of the rap-rock genre, Rage drew inspiration from early metallic instrumentation to create an almost totally new style of music. The coalescence of rhyming styles and vocals along with their sound, especially Tom Morello's guitar techniques, made RATM difficult to confine to any one particular musical genre, compelling a new classification.

    Audioslave "Be Yourself"

Audioslave is an alternative rock supergroup consisting of Chris Cornell (formerly of Soundgarden) and the instrumentalists of Rage Against the Machine. Tom Morello plays guitar, Tim Commerford plays bass, and Brad Wilk drums. The music is fueled by Cornell's powerful voice and Tom Morello's unique and unconventional style of guitar playing, with heavy hip-hop style solos, scratches down his guitar's neck, synthesizer-like sound effects, and an extensive use of pedals and devices to change the guitar's sound. As with Rage Against the Machine, the band prides itself on the fact that all sounds are produced using only vocals, guitar, bass guitar, or drums.
While Rage Against the Machine's music was politically influenced, Audioslave is not, as Chris Cornell said he did not want to become the new singer of Rage Against The Machine and needed the freedom to write lyrics which were not overtly political. However, the band is part of the Axis of Justice, which is a non-profit organization formed by Morello and Serj Tankian of System of a Down. Its purpose is to "bring together musicians, fans of music, and grassroots political organizations to fight for social justice together."

"Be Yourself" is the first single by Audioslave for their second album Out of Exile. It was released in 2005.
