Foghat "Slow Ride"




Foghat was an English rock band that had its greatest success in the mid- to late-1970s. Their music was straight-ahead blues-rock, dominated by electric & electric slide guitar, and the band achieved five gold records. The group remained popular during the disco era, but after the emergence of punk rock, the band no longer had a substantial audience, and they stopped performing live in 1984.

Sirenia is a gothic metal band from Stavanger, Norway.

Sirenia combines strong melodic instrumentals, synthesizers, and metal guitars with light female vocals, male death vocals, clean male vocals, a choir, and violins.
Most songs are atmospheric yet intense, with melodic backgrounds and interludes. The lyrics are concerned with human existence, emotion, and mental states.
Many in the genre consider the first album, At Sixes and Sevens, a masterpiece, one that was not repeated with An Elixir for Existence. This album is also notable for concluding with a slow and melodic ballad "In Sumerian Haze", with Fabienne Gondamin's delicate voice set to the sound of emotional violin playing.

XANDRIA "KILL THE SUN"




Xandria is a band, founded in Bielefeld, Germany, in 2000. The bands music combines elements of doom metal, gothic metal and symphonic metal making it hard to define exactly what music genre they are part of.
After various demos and great success on different MP3 portals, they released their first album in 2003, entitled Kill the Sun, which reached #98 on the German music charts. The follow-up album, Ravenheart (2004), stayed on the charts for 7 weeks, reaching #36.
