well, ugh, I've spent MORE time explaining a simple issue to u than i'd normally do explaining a fairly complex scientific concept to a person, typically

bottom line: nobody here seems to know what a "dead visa" is, sounds like some part of student lore. if they find out u're cuttin' and ax u - u r in deep kim che.

my advise to u - go read through the rules on the USCIS site, your English and your cognitive skills are sufficient to figure it out, i'm sure :rolleyes:
