Showgirls - is not even an "erotic" movie. Lotsa T&A - on the level of a german newspaper. Mulholland Drive - is one of his weirdest, sure don;t remember there anything over PG13.

I am sure none of these are considered overly sexy in Europe.

Caligula? Don't remember horses. )) They show penetration several times, oral sex - straight and gay, and fisting. As well as brief glipses of various unshaved genitalia... It fits the mood of the movie. The cut version is crap - misses the whole point.
