My name is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I am a frequent customer of Ann Taylor's stores. I would
like to inform you of an incident which had happened to me today, November 17th, at the Ann Taylor
Loft store located inside xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx in xxxxxxxxxxxx.
I was in a fitting room with my one year old son. I noticed some exposed electric wires to the right
side of the mirror, right as my child was reaching for them. As I leaned to pull him away, I
accidentally touched the wires myself thereby receiving an electric shock. I notified an associate
and manager on duty at the time (around 6:30p.m.) of what happened. I was told that there had been a
note there earlier in the day, but it must have "fallen off or something." Obviously, their
prevention measures did not stop me from getting shocked. Furthermore, the employees were very
casual and insincere about the situation and did not offer me any apology or demonstrate any
remorse.
Being a frequent customer of Ann Taylor's, I have come to expect more from the quality of the
merchandise as well as the service. I can see something like this happening at K-Mart for example,
but not at Ann Taylor's. Needless to say, I was considerably upset by the casual reaction from the
employees over this accident which could have been far worse had my son grabbed the wire.
The purpose of this letter is to request that better preventive and safety measures be implemented
and followed at this particular store and that situations like this, should they occur in the
future, be handled appropriately and professionally.

Я, соппсно, с этим делом работаю (Ja, ja, ich bin ein Elektriker). Бывает время от времени. Если работаешь на диэлектрической лестнице – не больно.

В понедельник тряхануло по полной (220). Интересное ощущение, хотя и крайне неприятное. Я еще был на металлическом каркасе.
8O 8O У нас одного товарища тряхануло 380 V, т.е. не между фазой и землей, а между двумя разными фазами.


Что касается вышеописанной ситуации : Annya, sue ‘em, это упыри, могли хотя бы изолентой замотать (дело 2 минут времени).

Кстати, ухожу с Нового года. Надоело, Вообще-то я лингвист, а электрик – это так, платят неплохо.
