Blood in the Water: Live in San Diego is a live DVD from American thrash metal band Megadeth. It features a live concert recorded at Cox Arena in San Diego /hometown of Dave Mustaine/ filmed during Gigantour 2008 on May 20, 2008. The band decided to release it as a full concert due to the other acts on the bill declining. The release date is currently unknown, although it has been released unofficially as 'Waking up the Dead'. Although this has not yet been released, Sweating Bullets is a currently unreleased song from the performance but may be released once the official version of the DVD is released. However the concert has premiered in the channel HDNet with few reruns.[1] It will be the last release featuring bassist James LoMenzo, and first featuring guitarist Chris Broderick.![]()
