... То за что проголосовал сегодня Конгресс это не реформа а подарки медмафии с добавкой небольших и тухлых костей для эндюзеров и посему обречена на провал. :(

Так никто толком ничего не сможет обьяснить...Наслушались Sean Hannity and Glen Beck, а теперь кричат-"the end of the republic as we know it", как попугаи...А Питеру-тому все фашизм мерещется. Самое интересное, когда говорят, что больше половины страны против билла they conviniently ignore( or deliberately forget) the fact that over 50% of those who are against the bill believe that it doesn't go far enough...

Pharmaceutical medications are covered by public funds for the elderly or indigent,[4] or through employment-based private insurance. Drug prices are negotiated with suppliers by the federal government to control costs. Family physicians are chosen by individuals. If a patient wishes to see a specialist or is counseled to see a specialist, a referral can be made by a GP. Preventive care and early detection are considered important and yearly checkups are encouraged. Early detection not only extends life expectancy and quality of life, but cuts down overall costs. Those suspected of abusing the system by over-frequent or frivolous use, can be tracked by the doctor through the ID on their health insurance card and may have to wait longer than those with more urgent needs.

А может кто обяснить человеческим языком в чем суть этого билл? плеасе

Этап первый-расширить страховое покрытие, непонятно, правда, за счёт каких денег, но ведь можно напечатать.

Этап второй-выяснится, что печатать необеспеченные деньги всё же нехорошо, и пора сокращать расходы (например, "ненужные" тесты, зарплата врачей ит.п.)

Этап третий-выяснится, что даже и в таком виде "на всех не хватает", и надо опять сокращать покрытое "страховкой" население. Поскольку это будет неудобно сделать в прямом виде, то будут увеличивать [copayments] итп-чтобы самим людям неповадно было ходить к врачу.

Этап четвёртый-будут опять искать, с каких "богатых людей" ещё можно содрать деньги на очередные прожекты.

И так бесконечно;)

Билл должен ещё пройти через Сенат где будет куча поправок, потом отрпавят обратно в Хаус и так до Ноября когда на выборах победят репы. Билл убьют и это ничем не закончитса, но Обама будет выглядет так как будто он сделал то что обещал

ЕСЛИ билл пройдёт по любой цене, то платить/иметь любую страховку просто финансово не выгодно. Достаточно заплатить штраф раз в год, а когда заболеешь рачком-с или сердечко прихватит в тот же день делать иншуру, так как отказать естественно не смогут.

Наплыв в [ER] будет такой же если не больше так как [according to the bill although not sure that I fully believe it] нелегалы не могут иметь страховки и просто НЕ ПОЙДУТ в оффис к врачу. Законов они не знают, не знают что врач не может позвонить в иммиграционные службы

И обястните мне следующее: тут я как то писала с чего можно начать и потихоньку продвигать в законы что бы всех удовлетворить. Одна из вещей это была отмена [pre-existing condition] что и сделанно. Так почему не могли просто провести этот закон без [public insurance]? Зачем нужна была эта бодяга с триллионым дефицитом?? Мы двигаемся к [single payer system] если не дай бог это осуществитса это всё, конец свободному маркету

Дак ведь весь смысл перейти на single payer system. Вы же не против Армии США а она же правивительством руководиться.
Чем плохо если медициной будет руководить государство. Оно своих медработников не обидит, как и военных и у вас зарплата ещё и прибавиться.
