Дак о количестве резидентов информация есть? Вроде ссылка тут мелькала что увеличение резидентов зарубил конгресс.

Как же вы заколебали со своим лицензированием. Тупые же как пробки. Не в состояние освоить простые знания компутера на уровне клерка. Тысячи людей погибают из-за выписанных от руки рецептов, из-за потерянных и перепутанных анализов. Любые меры по улучшению сервиса, не связанные с немедленным обагащением, разбиваются о стену жадности и равнодушия.

Я в цирке обезьянку видел,по клавишам компютера очень славно стучала и на экран так осмысленно смотрела,если ей приличное резюме состряпать глядишь ещё на одного "програмиста" будет больше.Причём надо учесть вероятнее всего ни по "социальным сайдам" ни по форумам ни по живым журналам в рабочее время лазить не будет.
А если пару лет интенсивной работы и глядишь ещё один "технарь" с PhD.будет.

In an effort to control federal spending, Congress passed the Balanced Budget Act in 1997, which capped the number of residency slots supported by Medicare at the then-current level.

The cap is hospital-specific, meaning Medicare contributes to a certain number of residency slots. Hospitals may choose to create more slots-and they have-but Medicare will not help fund them. The Balanced Budget Act also capped the number of residents used in the IME payment formula.

The cap has been in place for more than 10 years. In the mid-2000s the AAMC, as well as several medical student and physician organizations, began warning of an imminent physician shortage and called for efforts to increase the nation's supply of doctors. Medical school enrollment increased, but the resident cap, which many saw as an impediment to educating more physicians, remained intact. The cap may now be poised for a change due in part to health care reform. Health care reform proposals, including different ways of providing health coverage to more Americans, are gaining serious momentum in Washington and throughout the country. Because increasing health care coverage would likely increase the demand for physician services, there is renewed discussion over the need for raising the cap.

The Medicare Payment Advisory Committee (MedPAC), the influential body that advises Congress on Medicare issues, has recommended a decrease in GME spending. On Jan. 6, during a MedPAC meeting to discuss Medicare payment updates, the commission voted to recommend reducing the indirect medical education (IME) payments by 18 percent.

MedPAC sees it as a way to reduce Medicare spending; teaching hospitals say it could significantly affect their ability to balance patient care with educating doctors. According to AAMC estimates, an 18 percent cut would mean $1.1 billion less in IME payments for teaching hospitals, and $214 million less for teaching hospitals in the state of New York alone.

In this recent batch of surveys, several of the polls asked about the individual components of the health care reform proposals before Congress. The findings from Kaiser Health’s tracking survey, Newsweek, and Ipsos mirror previous results from other surveys – ultimately, there is great appeal for many of the individual parts, like overarching insurance reforms, establishing an exchange to provide competition and enable easier access to health care choice, providing financial assistance to low-income individuals, and providing tax credits to small businesses.

Other provisions are also exceedingly popular – Kaiser Health observes that helping close the Medicare “doughnut hole” (71 percent important), expanding high risk insurance pools to cover those with an illness (70 percent important), and even expanding Medicaid like the potential public option compromise that failed two months ago (56 percent important) all score incredibly high marks.] However, these surveys do show significant public hesitance for two particular components of reform – taxing the most high-value “Cadillac” plans (55 percent oppose according to Newsweek) and an individual mandate (60 percent oppose according to Ipsos).

Despite these points of contention, these recent surveys provide evidence that the public will support reform once they understand what it really includes. Newsweek, which asked about all of these policies – including the unpopular ones, re-asked the overall favor or oppose question for reform after describing the individual elements of the bill. They found that a plurality – 48 percent – favored the reform package, while only 43 percent opposed – a 14-point positive shift from the initial question.

Finally, Kaiser showed a similar result. After describing the various elements of reform they asked about the electoral impact of a vote in favor or opposition of health care reform and found that 35 percent would be more likely to support a candidate who voted for the legislation, while only 24 percent would be less likely. The results were virtually reversed when asked the opposite: if a candidate opposed the bill, 35 percent would be less likely to vote for that candidate, while 26 percent would be more likely to vote for him or her.

Там есть информация о количестве резидентов.
Я не знаю, что там Конгресс зарубил.
Когда увеличивается число программ-появляются новые резиденты.
В уже существующих программах число резидентов либо остаётся неизменным, либо увеличивается (через тот же аккредитационный процесс).
