еее....ну мне Глоба представляется типа ....такая ето как бы галактическая ось. Находится где-то в космосе. И на неё постоянно наталкиваются всякие планеты и звёзды. Но проис ходит ето редко. А ета полусумашедшая певичка - ето типа планета Земля... Такая кругленькая, страшненькая, но с голосом. И вот ета планета наконец натолкнулась на Глобу (галактическую ось). Susan Boyle mentioned in Simpsons
Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has inspired cartoon slacker Homer Simpson to audition for a talent show in The Simpsons.
Ms Boyle, 48, from West Lothian, became a worldwide sensation after appearing on Britain's Got Talent last month.
In the online clip, Homer appears before judge Simon Cowell, saying "My name is Homer Simpson, I'm 39 years old and, well, I've never been kissed."
He adds: "My dream is to be a great singer like Susan Boyle."
Ms Boyle's rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables on the ITV1 show turned her into a global phenomenon after being posted on YouTube.
She was previously mentioned in cult US cartoon show South Park.
Last week, she appeared on a special episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Her appearance in The Simpsons video extra, Springfield's Got Talent, is part of the show's 20th-anniversary season.

Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle will be among a host of hopefuls waiting to hear if they have secured a spot in the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent.

Judges will announce the 40 acts they want to put through to the live semi-finals, ahead of the grand final on Saturday next week.

Boyle gathered a worldwide following and celebrity fans including Demi Moore and Jon Bon Jovi since belting out I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables on the programme.

But while the 48-year-old spinster's performance may have wowed the judges, they also believe they may have unearthed the worst singer in the country during the Britain's Got Talent auditions.

Pudding factory worker David Watson, 51, from Hull, believes he has wasted the last seven years of his life, when he should have been on the singing circuit.

But after performing The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Simon Cowell told him his singing was "so awful it is beyond description".

Piers Morgan added that he could be "the worst singer in Britain".

In a first for the show, Cowell and Morgan took their buzzers back.

Three farming friends, Sam Parris, 27, Bobby Barns, 18, and Lyle Burrough, 19, all from Exeter, are known as The Barrow Boys.

The three farmers described their act as "everything you shouldn't do with a wheelbarrow".
