I'm sorry, I can't speak Russian, so I'm writing my message in English.
I watched a Hollywood movie on TV some 10 years ago, and I loved it. But I haven't been able to identify it so far. I thought someone here may know it.
The plot is as follows: A young man starts to live alone in a big city of the USA (perhaps Washington). One day he mysteriously loses all his identification documents, and when he comes home he sees other people living there. Then he receives a briefcase from someone he doesn't know. In the briefcase, he finds new IDs prepared for him under another name, and an apartment key and address. When he goes to this address, he meets a young woman waiting for him. With time, he realizes that these were prepared by the US intelligence and he will be used in the assassination of the Russian (not Soviet) president, or another high-ranked person from Russia, when he visits the United States.
