Sharp-suited thieves escape with £40m in Britain's biggest jewellery heist
A make-up artist who unwittingly disguised the faces of the two robbers that pulled off Britain's biggest ever jewellery heist was under police guard last night.
The 29-year-old agreed to fit the duo with film-style rubber masks after they told him they were appearing in a pop video.
Their faces were fitted with liquid latex shortly before they made off with a £40million haul in a two-minute raid on exclusive Graff Jewellers in Mayfair last Thursday.
The freelance make-up artist, who cannot be identified for his own safety, also altered their hair colour and skin tone in a four-hour session, for which he charged a £450 fee................
