Hey everybody! I have been living in USA for 3 years. I got married in August 2006 and we didn't send any papers to USCIS yet. In August of this year it'll be two years I'm married. My question is when is "the right time" for me to send our documents to USCIS in order to get my permanent green card.

В любой момент, по Вашему желанию. Похоже, надо сожалеть, что Вы не сделали этого раньше. Могли бы через год на гражданство подавать ...

Thanks! And what is the average time for proceeding the documents? Is it possible to get my permanent green card without getting temporary first? Will I be able to get it till the end of this year?

Отличается по штатам. Примерно 6-7 месяцев, если не застрянете на background check. Если Вашему браку два или больше года, то получите сразу постоянную карту.

I'm in North Carolina...... Is a good or bad state timewise?.:) :) And by the way I'm not living with my husband,he is just my very good friend, and we have all documents for USCIS: the car is on both of our names, insurance from his job is on both of us, joint bank account......Do you think I'll have any problems?

Is it possible to apply for a green card after second marriage in USA? The first one wasn't successful,no papers were sent to USCIS. Will it be suspicious to USCIS? It's my friend's question....:)

Не имеет никакого значения, если тлько муж/жена не приехали по "невестинской" визе.
