Sr. Network Manager

Base: $100-110K, Bonus (at or above) 30%

Job Description:
Individual will be responsible for managing the network administration, group. This consists of overseeing MS network administration, Email and Citrix. Individual will be responsible for supporting critical production systems in Application Delivery, implementing new technologies, project management and managing staff in support of financial applications. The environment includes over 350 windows servers including servers in remote locations. The operation runs 24/7 and the manager will be on call for any emergencies at any time.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Supports production, QA, development and DR environments – systems, servers and applications
Oversees all operating systems and applications for application delivery
Oversees all Exchange Domain Services
Oversee the design and support of all remote office networks involving occasional domestic and international travel
Manages staff – assist in solving technical problems, set weekly goals and provide daily support in accomplishing tasks
Lead projects, perform project management and resource management, keep records on-track and manage milestones
Maintains existing environment, performing upgrades, resolve technical and logistical issues
Competencies:
Experience managing and leading a group of Network Engineers and Administrators
Fundamental knowledge and experience with Microsoft networking NT, 2003, and active directory
Fundamental knowledge and experience with Exchange 2003 (2007 preferred), Citrix, SQL,
Good project management and organizational skills, good troubleshooting skills
Experience and knowledge of Network Appliance SAN, ColdFusion MX, Dell Hardware or related
Proven skill and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in management of a team and as a liaison across the organization
Experience and exposure to the IT audit process
Eight plus years of experience in related fields five of which would include MS Network Administration
Experience in Financial Services is a plus, Fixed Income environment or related is highly desired
Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):
Undergraduate degree in related field.
