DESCRIPTION
Develop web-based applications within both the ASP and ASP.NET frameworks for an "Internet Retailer Top 500" company. Involvement with planning, design, deployment, documentation and maintenance of applications. Ideal candidate is enthusiastic and self-motivated, has worked on a production website, and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a development team.
REQUIREMENTS
- extensive experience with HTML / XHTML, CSS, HTTP, SSL/HTTPS, JavaScript
- Microsoft "classic" ASP, ADO, VBScript
- Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 (or later), ADO.NET, C# / VB.NET)
- MS SQL Server 2000 (or later) database design and queries
- MS Visual Studio
- MS Office 2003 Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- MS Windows XP Professional
- MS Internet Information Server
Additionally Desired
- MS SQL Server 2000 stored procedures, complex SQL, DTS, and SQL Server Agent jobs
- Microsoft Visual SourceSafe or other version control / change management solution
- Macromedia Flash
- Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, SNMP, TCP/IP
