один наш американский друг остановился на 1 день в Шератоне по этой программе и вот его впечатления (без купюр):

Quick thoughts on the Sheraton Grande Walker Hill & Paradise Casino

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The Sheraton Grande is a 5-star hotel, pretty much what you expect. It's a big step up from the 35,000W Love Hotel room, but without the free porn and condoms on the dresser. The entire package cost 120,000W, which I thought would be the flat rate, but I ended up shelling out some more money for other things. More on that later.

The lobby is quite nice. When I walked in Saturday night, there was a live string trio. The lobby is open and spacious. The furnishings and decorations are muted but tasteful and comfortable. There is a wide staircase that leads to the second floor, where you'll find a bunch of restaurants. From what I remember, there's Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, a pizza restaurant, and a few others. For someone like me, eating at one of the restaurants is kind of pricey, but for you ballers out there it should be no problem. Staff is friendly, well-dressed, and for the most part attractive. Check in was easy, thanks to MonicaBElucci my reservations were set. I received my room cards, a VIP card (for comps I guess), but did not receive the 50,000W voucher I was expecting. So be sure to ask for that if you go.

The rate posted behind the door to my room said 498,000 W or something crazy like that. I wouldn't pay 498,000 a night for the room I got. But for 120,000W it's a heck of a deal. My room had two twin beds that were pushed together, a decent bathroom, pretty much everything you'd expect out of a nice hotel room. The minibar was well stocked but pricey. As a nice touch, instead of the usual Gideon Bible, my room came with a copy of the "Teachings of Buddha" -- handy for getting over all the money you dropped playing poker. "Life is suffering" or something like that. The view is nice, the picture window runs nearly the length of the room and looks over the Han River. It's kind boring during the day, but at night its ok when you see the highrises in front of the shadowy mountains.

The casino -- my date said it reminded her of Chuck E. Cheese. Which is kind of true. The floors have this weird rose pattern. They check your passport at the entrance. It's fairly large for being in a hotel, I guess, but if you've ever been to Vegas or even Atlantic City, you won't be that impressed. Apparently it is the largest casino in Korea. I went on a Saturday night, it was about 60% full. There were lots of Chinese, a handful of Japanese, and a lot of Koreans (gyopo i guess).
I counted four poker tables, three were operational (1-2 NL, 2-5 NL, and 15-30 L). All the poker tables were full, but the waiting list was one person long (me).
There were about 15 blackjack tables, the minimum bet was 10,000W at about half of these. There were about as many baccarat tables, I was tempted to play but I did not.
There was a weird wheel of fortune type game, didn't play. Plenty of roulette tables (spin spin spin RED!)
<SHIT>. Slot machines line the walls, no one was laying. Roulette, blackjack, and baccarat were most popular. For the record, I lost about 100,000
Dealers speak Korean, English, Japanese, and some Chinese dialect. They are friendly and will get chat with the players if that's what you want, but otherwise they just stay professional. You can smoke everywhere in the casino. Waitresses seem to come around just a few minutes after you've finished your last drink. They are all young, and attractive in a healthy way. They wear short red dresses that end just below the ass, fishnet stockings and heels. Very nice. There is also a little lounge/eating area tucked away in the back of the casino where you can kick back for a bit and get some free food. Selection is about what you'd find at one of those cheap eateries, but not bad for being free. Curry rice, bibimbap, eel over rice, sandwiches, etc. and of course for breakfast, "corn frost" (frosted flakes). Apparently there is some kind of free continental breakfast, but I was sleeping then.

What else -- there are a couple duty free shops and a bunch of luxury goods shops, just like an airport minus the Oakley store.

Next door (connected) to the Sheraton Grande is the W Hotel which is supposed to be hip and trendy, but honestly, the Sheraton Grande is much much nicer. But the W has more 'cool' things like Woobar which I didn't bother going to. The lobby of the W turns into a lounge/club what have you so the furnishings are cheaper and a little frayed.

Plenty more I can write about, but this is long enough already and I'm not getting paid for it.

In short, sexy waitresses, great discount on the room, functional casino - its not the Bellagio, but decent. i'ts a great deal.

Oh yeah, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. It's 8000 W for a tooth brush and 8000 won for toothpaste.
