good evening
I am getting married to a citizen in a couple of weeks and will have to start filing papers for adjustment of status.
Question - do I have to file Form I-765 Authorization for Employment if i am self employed - which means we are planning to open a dance studio, we are partners in business just as well, so i will be an owner of a business. I don't know whether it's concidered just an employment or is it something different?
Very much appreciate your advice.
Thank you!

If you are going to be working for that business, you need authorization.
If you are only planning to collect dividend income (owner share - whatever) from it, then you do not.

Yes, of course you do. Without it you won't be able to work (pay taxes) whatever you do - work for hire or self-employed
