@Majora:

There are several videos on YT by Antonio Turiel (mathematician and physicist who works analyzing data from LIDAR satellites in oceanography at the CSIC) which explain how the North Atlantic Current has experienced a very rapid recession in just a few years that not even the IPCC models had. taken into consideration so far. The serious thing about the fact that this ocean current has almost completely stopped is that it is the one that regulates the temperatures of the entire European continent. Madrid is approximately the same latitude as New York and Berlin is at the same latitude as Vancouver. However, in most of Europe there are no winters with temperatures of 25 or 30 below zero or meters of snow and ice, and this is thanks to this current. If it really stops completely (which is not yet clear because last year was an El Niño year) we are talking about a decrease in the average temperature in Europe at the rate of 1ºC per DECADE, and essentially starting from 50ºC of forward latitude (from Paris upwards) the continent would become a glacier.
Imagine the consequences if 300 million people were to leave the northern half of Europe and were no longer able to grow the amount of cereals produced. Warning for the enlightened, that a continent like Europe which is cooling does NOT go against global warming, which would continue to occur.
