Basically, we're looking at a political realignment that happens every 70 years or so. If you think of the Democratic Party retoric during Clinton's presidency, it actually sounds a lot like Trump. Democrats claimed to be the party of the working class and the Republicans were the party of the rich. During Obama's administration, that shifted. The Democrats took fuckton of money from the ultra Rich tech Moguls and realigned into the party of the Ultra Rich and those dependant on government. The Republicans were left twisting in the wind and Trump stepped into the vacuum created by the Democrats abandoning the working class and declared himself the Populist candidate and dragged the Republicans kicking and screaming into being the working class party. Note that the United Steelworkers Union, formerly staunch Democratic supporters, have now endorsed Donald Trump. Because, against all previous logicz the Republicans are becoming the party of the proletariat and the Democrats are becoming the party of the wealthy elites. It's fucking weird and it's been a wild ride.

Это началось еще в 1980г. Т.н. демократы Рейгана. В основном профсоюзщики, маленькие бизнесы, то се. Одним словом - работяги. Рейган уже тогда возбухал против аутсорсинга и т.п. Но за 40 лет репы умудрились их распугать своими дефицитами, похожестью на демов, ростом бюджета и т.п.

Не уверен. AOC сильно настроила против себя верхушку Дем партии,как впрочем и остальные три. Демы прекрасно понимают,что они сделали ошибку поддержав их в 18. Думаю эта четверка не получит большой подержки от Демов в 20. Да и эта республиканская кандидатка нужного цвета с хорошей репутацией так,что будем посмотреть. Я каюсь сразу сделал донашн в ее компаниию.

70 лет назад демократы (Роберт Берд, специфически) одевали нарядные белые простыни и жгли кресты.
Демы -это партия анти-американизма сегодня. Богатым нужен приток дешевой рабочей силы из Мексики и Индии, либералы в своем безумии ненавидят все продуктивное и вменяемое, соответственно и Омары с Талибами, и Клинтоны с лолитами, и миллионер Берни с серпом и молотом.

Пролетариат по определению, рабочее быдло без влияния и собственности. Я бы сказал, что в США пролетариата нет, и бог даст, уже не будет, и партии не будет.

President Donald Trump said on Thursday, July 18, that the USS Boxer amphibious assault ship took defensive action in the Strait of Hormuz and destroyed an Iranian drone which closed into the near distance, approximately 1000 yards away. The action was taken after multiple calls for the drone to stand down were ignored, “threatening the safety of the ship and ship’s crew.”
Speaking at the White House on Thursday afternoon, Trump called on other nations to defend Iranian attempts to “disrupt freedom of navigation and global commerce” and to “protect their ships as they go through the Strait of Hormuz. The incident came hours after Tehran said it had taken over an oil tanker with its 12-man crew, without identifying its owner.
