Today is a typical day for TVIX after a volatility week or so following a huge spike. If volatility eases then TVIX takes its own course to the south buying more June future contracts and selling May ones. Since (Once) the June contract is more expensive then the May contract, TVIX owns fewer future contracts every day (Contango). Contango pushes TVIX down most of the time up to 90% and shorting is the only instrument for gaining on this ETN. Until the next volatility spikes form.

They used to do RS for TVIX below $1. Now they switched to around $4
Don't leave the short position open during the RS process. The Credit Suisse is the issuer of this ETN. God knows what that crooks from CS might do with this note thru the process of RS. Read what happened to another ETN previously known as XIV. It was a money making machine until CS decided otherwise.

Underwriting тут не причём. Прочитай ещё раз что я написал. Речь шла про фонды, которые скупают акции компании которая собирается выходить на рынок до его выхода по ценам значительно ниже намеченной при IPO.
