‘Like a Military Operation’: 100 Cars Burnt in Swedish ‘No-Go Zones’

A gang of masked “youths” rampaged through Sweden’s second-largest city Monday night, setting cars ablaze in an attack described as “extremely organised” and like a military operation by the Prime Minister.

Shocking video of fire engulfing numerous vehicles in Gothenburg spread on social media Monday evening with other footage clearly showing masked people in dark clothing intentionally lighting the blazes.

Police chose not to arrest the “young people” at the scene and have since contacted their parents, reports state.

A journalist was assaulted by a soon-to-be congresswoman while asking her questions at a political rally for U.S. Congressional candidate Ilhan Omar in Minnesota on Saturday.

Rashida Tlaib, a Palestinian Muslim who won her primary in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District on Tuesday, forcefully grabbed Jewish journalist Laura Loomer and stole her phone when Loomer approached her to ask questions at the rally.

In the Middle East, violence against Jews may be tolerable. In America, where Tlaib – running unopposed after her primary win – and is set to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives, it is not. In fact, all types of political violence are denounced in America. The violent political left seems to have missed the memo.

Tlaib refused to answer Loomer when asked whether she was willing to admit that Palestinian Sunni-Islamist fundamentalist organization Hamas is a terrorist organization. The group is officially recognized as such by the federal government.

During the assault and ensuing skirmish, Tlaib was pulled away from Loomer by Omar, whom Loomer has investigated in the past for violations of Minnesota House ethics rules and allegedly marrying her brother for fraudulent immigration purposes.

Tlaib then accused Loomer of “stalking,” which is an odd way to describe the actions of a curious journalist.

“I’m now going to be a member of Congress, Inshallah,” Tlaib said at the event. “Inshallah” means “God willing” in Arabic.

Loomer continued to hammer the two candidates, asking how they will serve their Jewish constituents if their loyalties lie with Allah, and blasting Omar for voting against Minnesota state legislation that would have made the radical Islamic practice of female genital mutilation a felony.

Both candidates are also endorsed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) which is designated as a terrorist group in the United Arab Emirates. Further, both candidates are endorsed by Linda Sarsour, who called for Muslims to carry out jihad against President Donald J. Trump in a speech in 2017.

Руководство США подготовило законопроект о санкциях, который может помешать завершить строительство газопровода "Северный поток-2" между Россией и Германией.

Новые санкции могут ввести в течение нескольких недель, сообщила газета The Wall Street Journal со ссылкой на действующих и бывших американских чиновников, пишет Meduza.

Ограничения планируют ввести в отношении компаний, участвующих в строительстве газопровода, или же банков и других фирм, финансирующих "Северный поток-2". США опасаются, что новый газопровод усилит зависимость Европы от российского природного газа. Вашингтон собирается заранее предупредить Евросоюз о введении санкций.

"Северный поток-2" дублирует уже действующий трубопровод между Россией и Германией. Соглашение о прокладке двух новых ниток "Северного потока" по дну Балтийского моря из России в Германию было подписано в сентябре 2015 года. Мощность нового трубопровода составит 55 миллиардов кубометров газа в год.

Iranian-backed militants are operating across the United States mostly unfettered, raising concerns in Congress and among regional experts that these “sleeper cell” agents are poised to launch a large-scale attack on the American homeland, according to testimony before lawmakers.

Iranian agents tied to the terror group Hezbollah have already been discovered in the United States plotting attacks, giving rise to fears that Tehran could order a strike inside America should tensions between the Trump administration and Islamic Republic reach a boiling point.

Intelligence officials and former White House officials confirmed to Congress on Tuesday that such an attack is not only plausible, but relatively easy for Iran to carry out at a time when the Trump administration is considering abandoning the landmark nuclear deal and reapplying sanctions on Tehran.

There is mounting evidence that Iran poses “a direct threat to the homeland,” according to Rep. Peter King (R., N.Y.), a member of the House Homeland Security Committee and chair of its subcommittee on counterterrorism and intelligence.

A chief concern is “Iranian support for Hezbollah, which is active in the Middle East, Latin America, and here in the U.S., where Hezbollah operatives have been arrested for activities conducted in our own country,” King said, referring the recent arrest of two individuals plotting terror attacks in New York City and Michigan.

“Both individuals received significant weapons training from Hezbollah,” King said. “It is clear Hezbollah has the will and capability.”

США впервые за 40 лет опередили Россию по добыче нефти

США по итогам июня 2018 года обошли Россию по объему нефтедобычи. Это произошло впервые с 1974 года.

Об этом сообщает "РИА Новости" со ссылкой на данные организации "Совместная инициатива по нефтяной статистике" (JODI).

JODI ведет учет объемов добычи нефти с 2002 года. За этот период Россия не опускалась в рейтинге ниже второго места.

По данным JODI, больше всего нефти в июне-2018 добывали США - в среднем 10,9 млн баррелей нефти в сутки. Второе место заняла Саудовская Аравия с объемом добычи 10,49 миллиона. Россия с результатом 10,48 млн баррелей нефти в сутки опустилась со второго на третье место.

США лидировали по темпам добычи нефти на протяжении большей части 20-го века. Тем не менее, по данным Минэнерго США, Советский Союз обошел Соединенные Штаты по этому показателю в 1974 году, а Саудовская Аравия сделала то же самое в 1976 году.

США в ближайшие пять лет нарастят экспорт сжиженного природного газа (СПГ) в Европу в четыре раза.
