Чет я не понял. Продали за год текилы на $36 млн, а бренд за 1 ярд. Как это?

Скорее заплатили за то чтобы убрать конкурента. В ликерном бизнесе самое важное это место на полке. Цена продукта часто именно от этого и зависит т.к. себестоимость самого бухла ничтожна, какие то центы за литр. Остальная себестоимость это реклама, раскрутка, и ессно гос. налоги. Позиция на полке как и имя позволяют брать существенно больше на выходе. Поэтому отпиаренный Гусь 60дол за рукавичку а многие менее отпиаренные бэнды но ИМО не хуже качества 15-20дол. При том что себестоимость обоих может с разницей 5-10ц за бутылку. Вот и вся рихметика.

Джонни Депп извинился за шутку об убийстве Трампа

Голливудский актер Джонни Депп принес извинения за свои намеки по поводу возможного убийства президента США Дональда Трампа. Он пошутил на этот счет, отвечая на вопросы поклонников на британском рок-фестивале Гластонбери. Белый дом осудил Деппа.

"Я прошу прощения за плохую шутку, которую прошлым вечером я пытался в дурном вкусе произнести в адрес президента Трампа.", - заявил 54-летний актер журналу People.

"Это вышло не так, как предполагалось, у меня не было злого умысла. Я только пытался развлечь [публику], а не навредить кому-то", - добавил Депп.

Актер пошутил по поводу Трампа, отвечая на вопросы перед показом на фестивале Гластонберри фильма 2004 года "Распутник", в котором он сыграл главную роль.

"Это попадет в прессу, и это будет ужасно. Но я бы хотел, чтобы вы стали частью этого", - сказал актер. И спросил поклонников, помнят ли они, "когда в последний раз актер убивал президента".

"Я бы хотел уточнить: я не актер. Я просто лгу, чтобы зарабатывать на жизнь", - закончил свою шутку Депп.

Актером был убит президент США Авраам Линкольн. 14 апреля 1865 года его застрелил в Вашингтоне во время спектакля "Наш американский кузен" артист Джон Уилкс Бут.

Ремарка Деппа об "убийстве президента актером" вызвали резкую критику со стороны сторонников Трампа.

В пятницу представитель Белого Дома Шон Спайсер выразил озабоченность в связи с тем, что шутки по поводу "убийства Трампа" звучат все чаще.

Vladimir Putin ordered Russian hackers to help elect Donald Trump, says explosive new report

A new report indicates that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally ordered election hacking to help elect Donald Trump.

Mr Putin’s direct involvement in the effort to undermine the US election systems was disclosed to former President Barack Obama in August, just months before the election that saw a surprise victory for Mr Trump, according to a Washington Post investigation into the Obama administration’s internal deliberations on how to handle the meddling.

The Russian president had ordered the attacks in order to defeat, or at least damage, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. At the time of the attacks — and up until voting day last November — Ms Clinton was seen as a the odds on favourite to be the next president.

Mr Putin has denied allegations that his government was directly involved in the cyber attacks that led to massive leaks of emails and data from Democratic servers. Instead, he has said that “patriotic” Russian hackers may have been involved, but not members of his government.

The story of Russian meddling outlined in the Washington Post, however, indicate that US intelligence agencies became so confident that Mr Putin was behind the attacks that Mr Obama personally warned him against continuing to do so. When confronted, the Russian President denied the accusations, and said that there was no proof.

The hackings led the Obama administration to impose sanctions on Russia following Election Day in the US, and to the government expelling Russian diplomats stationed in American cities.

But, although US intelligence agencies became increasingly sure that Russia was actively trying to undermine the 2016 election, the Obama administration worried that acting publicly on the issue in close proximity to the election would give rise to concerns that Mr Obama’s team was using the White House to try and influence the election.

Instead of acting against Putin before the election, the White House attempted to stop future meddling, and to work to ensure that US voting systems weren’t significantly impacted.

Trump just ended a long tradition of celebrating Ramadan at the White House
For the first time in nearly two decades, Ramadan has come and gone without the White House recognizing it with an iftar or Eid celebration, as had taken place each year under the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations. In recent weeks, several former White House staff members told The Post they would usually begin planning an iftar "months in advance" and didn't anticipate the Trump White House could pull something off before the end of Ramadan.

White House officials did not respond to repeated requests for comment. Late Saturday afternoon, the White House released a short statement from President Trump and the first lady recognizing the holiday.

"Muslims in the United States joined those around the world during the holy month of Ramadan to focus on acts of faith and charity," the statement read. "Now, as they commemorate Eid with family and friends, they carry on the tradition of helping neighbors and breaking bread with people from all walks of life. During this holiday, we are reminded of the importance of mercy, compassion, and goodwill. With Muslims around the world, the United States renews our commitment to honor these values. Eid Mubarak."

In late May, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reportedly said the State Department would break with recent tradition and not host a Ramadan reception, as it had done nearly annually for two decades. On Saturday morning, Tillerson also released a brief statement sending "best wishes to all Muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr."

"This holiday marks the culmination of Ramadan, a month in which many experience meaning and inspiration in acts of fasting, prayer, and charity," Tillerson said in the statement. "This day offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared commitment to building peaceful and prosperous communities. Eid Mubarak."

President Trump announced Wednesday night that he will soon ask Congress to pass legislation banning immigrants from accessing public assistance within five years of entering the U.S.

“The time has come for new immigration rules that say ... those seeking immigration into our country must be able to support themselves financially and should not use welfare for a period of at least five years," Trump told a campaign-style rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa...

The administration circulated a draft executive order to make Trump's proposed changes earlier this year. However, Trump's remarks Wednesday indicated that he wants Congress to codify his plan into law.

In requesting these changes, the White House will cite a 2015 report from the Center for Immigration Studies that found 51 percent of households headed by an immigrant are using some form of public assistance, compared to 30 percent among non-immigrant families. That report has been disputed by critics who say it does not take into account the nuances of many immigrant families.

Трамп обвинил Обаму в бездействии в связи с кибератаками России

Президент США Дональд Трамп обвинил своего предшественника на посту главы государства Барака Обаму в бездействии в ситуации с вмешательством России в выборы в США.

По словам Трампа, Обама еще до выборов знал о предполагаемом вмешательстве России, однако "ничего не сделал".

"Если администрации Обамы задолго до выборов [президента] в 2016 году доложили, что Россия пытается вмешаться, почему не было никаких действий? Сконценрируйтесь на них, а не на Т (Вероятно, буквой "Т" Трамп обозначает свое имя - прим. ред.)", - написал президент в "Твиттере".

Трамп выступил с таким заявлением после сообщения газеты Washington Post о том, что Бараку Обаме еще в августе прошлого года было известно о "прямой вовлеченности" Владимира Путина в попытки вмешателсьства в выборный процесс в США.
