В прошлом году была с 9 мая по 16 мая в Riviera Maya - Playa Del Carmen.
Вода в океане была теплая, в одном бассейне вода после обеда прогревалась так, что была горячей...
Дождь был днем только раз, после обеда. И пару раз ночью. (может нам просто повезло с отсутствием дождей)
Даже вечерами не нужно было ничего накидывать поверх платья... а два вечера было душно и влажность высокая.
Зря с собой брала выпрямитель волос, бесполезная штука при такой влажности.
Очень понравилось, я тоже не люблю прохладную воду.

на майской ривьере я был в ноябре, много лет назад.тогда мне понравилось, но больше я к мексиканцам не поеду, резону нет - они сами все у нас.
а еще море хорошее и теплое в октябре в Португалии на самом юге (года три назад?) и в Италии на Адриатике и Ионическом море ... красиво, народу мало, вкусно

да, в октябре должно быть ещё тепло... и последний месяц сезона дождей... может тоже повезёт и их не будет
но, говорят, они обычно во второй половине дня... но я не знаю, в сезон дождей не была

November is approaching the winter season in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, but the temperatures remain warm thanks to the resort's year-round tropical climate. November also marks the start of the dry season, which means rainfall decreases drastically from the previous months. It is a great time to visit Playa del Carmen because the weather is extremely pleasant and the rains have all but stopped – perfect for soaking up some last-minute sun before winter finally sets in.

Average temperatures in November usually hover around 25°C, though they will often rise to 30°C and above, especially during the hotter parts of the day. At night, the temperatures cool off quite a lot, but remain pleasant at around 21°C. If you are visiting Playa del Carmen at this time of year, it is a good idea to pack layers. T-shirts, shorts, and swimwear are perfect for the warm days, but you might want to pack an extra layer or two for when the temperatures cool down in the evening. Remember to slip some sun cream into your luggage, too, as the sun is still strong in November.

Rain

Playa del Carmen's equatorial location means it experiences a tropical climate complete with a dry season and a rainy season. November falls at the start of the dry season, which means that there is barely any rainfall throughout the month. On average, you can expect to see as little as 29mm of rain over a period of about 3 days. It is very unlikely that you will experience any showers during your trip, but it might be a good idea to pack and umbrella and some waterproofs just to stay on the safe side.

Sunshine Hours

The tropical climate also means that there are still many hours of sunshine during the day, even in the winter months. In November, there are around 8 hours of sunshine a day, providing you with plenty of time to explore the resort and spend an ample amount of time relaxing on the beaches.

Average Sea Temperature

The beaches are a hugely popular attraction in Playa del Carmen, thanks to their pristine white-sand beaches and the sparkling blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. At this time of year, the sea temperatures are a positively tropical 28°C, offering lovely warm waves to splash and swim around in. There is a 33% chance of a windy day at this time of year, though, so watched out for choppy waves and rogue undercurrents.

November is a great time to visit Playa del Carmen – it is the start of the much-anticipated dry season, the temperatures are extremely warm and slightly more bearable than the summer months, and there is still plenty of daylight to explore the resort in.
