In Autumn 2004, London's Wembley Arena staged what must surely go down as the greatest guitar concert of all time to celebrate the 50th birthday of a true rock icon -- The Fender Stratocaster Guitar. Members of Queen, Genesis, Thin Lizzy, The Crickets, The Shadows, Free, The Eagles, Roxy Music, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones plus solo stars Amy Winehouse, Albert Lee, Jamie Cullum, Theresa Andersson, and Paul Carrack all gathered on one stage to honour the occasion, perform some of Rock's greatest tracks and also to raise money for Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy. Now this concert is even bigger and better on Blu-ray with material that had to be cut to fit onto DVD being added as bonus features.
Gary Moore - Whiskey In The Jar (From "One Night In Dublin: A Tribute To Phil Lynott")
On 20 August 2005, on what would have been his 56th birthday, a statue of Phil Lynott was unveiled in Dublin's Grafton Street by his mother. There to witness the event were members of Thin Lizzy from throughout the band's career. Later that evening they joined forces under the leadership of Gary Moore for a concert that paid tribute to Phil Lynott's memory. The core band of Moore, Jethro Tull bass player Jonathan Noyce and Thin Lizzy's one and only drummer Brian Downey were joined by the stellar guitar talents of Brian Robertson, Scott Gorham and Eric Bell for a set of Lizzy and Gary Moore classics.
