    Depeche Mode "Enjoy the Silence"

Depeche Mode is an electronic music band from the town of Basildon, England, founded in 1980. They have been one of the longest-lived and most successful bands to have emerged during the New Wave and New Romantic era, though they are more akin to what was known as the 'Futurist' scene; many of their videos have been heavily rotated on MTV. As of 2006, it is estimated that Depeche Mode has sold over 72 million albums worldwide. They have influenced many of today's popular recording artists, in part due to their innovative work, recording techniques and use of sampling. In their home country, the UK, they are still thought of by some as an "Eighties band". Though massively influential in the modern electronic dance scene, they remain in the alternative genre.

Pet Shop Boys "West End Girls"

Pet Shop Boys are an English electronic/pop music duo, consisting of Neil Tennant (b. 10 July 1954) who provides main vocals, keyboards and very occasionally guitar, and Chris Lowe (b. 4 October 1959) on keyboards and occasionally on vocals.
The longevity of their career is generally attributed to their ability to create melodic pop/dance music with intelligent lyrics and striking style. They are one of the most consistently successful duos in pop music, particularly in Europe. Since 1986, they have had 38 top 40 singles in the UK including four number ones: "West End girls", "It's A Sin", "Always on my mind" and "Heart". They were very successful in the United States in the mid-1980's.

"West End girls" is a song by pop group the Pet Shop Boys. It was written by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe and was the duo's first hit reaching number one in the US and UK in 1986

    a-ha "Take On Me"

a-ha is a Norwegian band who were most popular in the UK and the USA during the 1980s, but continued to be globally successful in the 1990s and 2000s. The trio, composed of lead vocalist Morten Harket, guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (known as Pål Waaktaar until 1994) and keyboardist Magne Furuholmen, formed in 1982 and left Norway for London in order to make a career in the music business. The origin of the name a-ha comes from the title of an early song (The Juicyfruit Song). After checking dictionaries in several languages, they found out that "a-ha" was an international way of expressing recognition, with positive connotations. It was short, easy to say and unusual.

"Take on Me" is a song by the Norwegian band a-ha. The music video for the song first aired in 1985 on local Boston music video station V66, and then subsequently on MTV. The song is a track from a-ha's first album, Hunting High and Low, released in 1985.
