Diggiloo Diggiley



Herreys was a Swedish pop group, consisting of the three Mormon brothers Richard, Louis and Per Herrey. They won the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song "Diggi-loo diggi-ley". In the Swedish lyrics of the song, written by Britt Lindeborg, a man relates the story of how he finds a pair of golden shoes that will make him surpass any obstacle. Herreys continued to record and tour for a few years, but had no hits of the same magnitude as the Eurovision winner. With their young crowd of followers slowly waning, the band eventually broke up. Richard made an appearance at Congratulations, a 50th anniversary concert, held in Copenhagen, Denmark in October 2005. In February 2006 Richard released his first solo album 'Jag e Kung'

Freddie Mercury "Living On My Own"



Freddie Mercury was a British-Indian songwriter and singer, best known as the frontman for the English rock band Queen. He was noted for his powerful vocal abilities and his charisma as a live performer. As a songwriter, he composed many international hits such as "Bohemian Rhapsody", Somebody to Love and "We Are the Champions". The quality of the band's music was greatly enhanced by Mercury's singing abilities, he also gave the band a distinct style on stage with his flamboyant performances and extravagant personality. Mercury died from complications of AIDS, greatly increasing awareness of the disease.
On the Freddie Mercury box set, opera singer Montserrat Caballé, who collaborated with Mercury on the Barcelona album, commented that, "He was not only a popular singer, he was a musician, that could sit at the piano and compose. He discovered a new way to bring different music styles together. He is the first and only person to have done this."

Living on My Own is a song by Freddie Mercury. It can be found as track 9 on his album Mr. Bad Guy. In 1993 the most successful remix was released reaching number 1 in the UK and staying there for 2 weeks, and it remained for a total of 13 weeks on the charts.
