EMI estimated that by 1985, the band had sold over one billion records worldwide.[1] Their ballad Yesterday, written by McCartney, may be the most-covered song in the history of recorded music (about 3,000 versions of it exist).[2]

Van Halen is an American rock band formed in the early-1970s. The band's first studio album, Van Halen, released in 1978 is widely regarded as a milestone in rock music. With this first release, the band established itself as a leader in the emerging and commercially successful U.S. heavy metal music genre of the 1980s. In particular, the band's guitarist, Eddie Van Halen, quickly gained widespread fame for his technical prowess and musical sensibility. Almost overnight, he was touted as one of the most innovative and influential American rock and roll guitarists[1].
From 1978 to 1998 the band released 11 studio albums (all of which broke the Top 20 spot of the Billboard 200 music charts[2]). The band has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide[3] and has received several Grammy nominations[4]. Van Halen is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records with the most number one hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock List[5].

Epica "The Last Crusade "




Epica is a Dutch symphonic metal band which puts emphasis on the use of operatic elements, and death grunts, also performing some song passages in the Latin language. It was founded by guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen subsequent to his departure from After Forever.
Epica then assembled a choir — made up of six men and six women — and a strings orchestra — three violins, two violas, two cellos and a double bass — to play along with them. Their debut album — The Phantom Agony — was produced by Sacha Paeth (known for having previously produced bands such as Angra, Rhapsody and Kamelot) and was released in late 2003.
