TORONTO – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says a Somali refugee charged with ramming his car into a Canadian policeman, stabbing him and then injuring four people while leading officers on a high-speed chase was ordered deported from the U.S. in 2011.
An ICE spokeswoman said Tuesday that Hasan Sharif Abdulahi was taken into ICE's custody in San Diego in July of that year and in September an immigration judge ordered him sent back to Somalia.
Spokeswoman Jennifer Elzea says Sharif was released from custody two months later then failed to report as ordered for his removal on Jan. 24, 2012. She says efforts to locate him were unsuccessful.
Sharif faces 11 charges, including five of attempted murder. He entered Canada legally in 2012 and obtained refugee status.

Страна избавляется от позорного наследия расизма!
http://www.breitbart.com/big-governm...ration-racist/A museum dedicated to Dr. Seuss in Springfield, Massachusetts, said it would remove a mural depicting a Chinese character featured in one of his books after three authors claimed the image was a “jarring racial stereotype.”....
...We recently learned that a key component of this institution honoring Dr. Seuss features a mural depicting a scene from his first book, ‘And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,’ and within the selected art is a jarring racial stereotype of a Chinese man, who is depicted with chopsticks, a pointed hat, and slanted slit eyes. We find this caricature of ‘the Chinaman’ deeply hurtful, and we have concerns about children’s exposure to it.

Sessions, speaking at the Justice Department's Executive Office for Immigration Review, took aim at policies that allow people to effectively get asylum if they claim to have a "credible fear" of returning home.
Sessions said the Obama administration expanded this by allowing many who passed an initial review to be released from custody into the U.S. pending a hearing. He said the claims, many of them false, are now skyrocketing.
“The system is being gamed. There is no doubt about it. The credible fear process was intended to be a lifeline for persons facing serious persecution,” Sessions said. “But it has become an easy ticket to illegal entry into the United States.”

The Department of Justice found New York City isn’t complying with federal immigration laws and ordered the Big Apple to prove it’s not a sanctuary city by Oct. 27 or risk losing millions in federal grant dollars.
A Justice Department review of New York City’s laws and policies found at least four provisions appear to violate federal immigration laws, according to an Oct. 11 letter obtained by The Post.
The Justice Department informed the city it has two weeks to certify such laws don’t prohibit the NYPD from sharing immigration status with federal officers, including tipping them off when a criminal undocumented immigrant suspect is released from their custody.
“Jurisdictions that adopt so-called ‘sanctuary policies’ also adopt the view that the protection of criminal aliens is more important than the protection of law-abiding citizens and of the rule of law,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement to The Post.
City Hall is gearing up for a legal showdown with the Trump administration.
“We are reviewing DOJ’s response, and are prepared to fight to protect critical public safety funding,” Mayor Bill de Blasio spokesman Seth Stein told The Post.
