June 4, at 7PM at the LA Film School in Hollywood. Please come join us to see the first ever screening of American Seagull, the update to Anton Chekhov's classic The Seagull, this time set in Malibu. This is a moment of great joy as the hard work of a lot of dedicated and talented people in front of and behind the cameras will be on display. We will have some celebratory refreshments soft and other, on site and we can stay and chat and hang, eat a bite, but please feel free to bring some bottles for extra toasts to Chekhov and the others. The film as shot in 35mm by Don FauntLeRoy and edited by Oscar winner Scott Conrad and Michael Kuge is lush gorgeous romantic eye-candy that tells a story with pop and sizzle. Add a gorgeous score by top classical musicians in Moscow and jazz from NY, plus an amazing song by the great Vladimir Vyskotsky, all in surroundsound and voila. An independent film made in Hollywood. A treat for the soul! Nastrovya!
PS. Please come early to park... Plenty of public parking within a block.
