American Russian Theatre (ART) Players presents The SHADOW by Evgeny Shvarts at the art\works Theatre. "A satirical fairy tale for grown ups"

"The Shadow" is a furious cavalcade of shockingly familiar archetypes.

Written in the late 30s in Russia, at the darkest time of violent censorship, this deceptively innocent fairy tale takes an uncompromising stab at political power, servile obedience, fame, and bigotry.
